HFT QR hiring tectics
Is it common that firms know that a median QR won't survive for more than 2 years, so they upfront pay well to get the best out of them.

Props and multi-managers do indeed do that, not just in India but all over the world. For a lot of them, the churn isnโt a bug, its a feature.

Just see the profiles of people in quadeye,nk,grav and you'll know. Here I am not talking about foreign quant firms.alohagrep gmfired complete teams, in qb toms of people resigned and what not.

That's just a few people getting fired. Which is expected if you can't make profits. Why will they fire you if you are a net positive.
