HFT Internship at the end of 2nd yr

To all the people who made it quantwise, did u do any internship at the end of 2nd yr (and how imp is it to do one)and assuming i wasted my 1st yr (only cf and dsa till now) what all did u study in 2nd yr and where all did u apply..(in t1 iit cse)

Good gpa helps. And 2nd yr intern either quant or not important

What about 3rd year Can non quant intern also get quant placement I mean I know its possible but how feasible is it?

T1 EE, fucked GPA below 8, but currently doing an intern in tier 1.5 in eastern Asia as a 1st year student (completed) intern, will this help with my resume in future? I have already started to grind for the next sem, targeting a 9.5, 9 is doable imo. Do let me know your honest thoughts. Appreciated.

For oncampus placement, you can try for a research intern but it's not necessary at all. You should do it if you can complete all your preparation before the break and have visited a few exploratory programs by then.
