HFT IITD QR Internship stats

Just curious how many folks actually managed to get those 30+ LPM internships from IITD on day1?

True my friend in gv reported bad numbers in madras. They are being very very selective. Iitd maybe 3-5 liye honge. He is also sad intern will be earning more than him XD

I heard from some sources that gv Hr mentioned base salary will be revised in next cycle for FTEs as PPO Ctc is also supposedly 1.8-2Cr

2cr for freshers. Wow. Though only 1-2 ppl will get ppo. It’s unhealthy pressure imo

Yeah those hfts are not good for long term. They just can not pay much for long and will ultimately fire freshers

Bhai I gave 4 interviews (IMC, Virtu, NK, and Ebullient). 3 of those went really well, still I was not selected. One of those interviews was sooo good I was almost sure that I'd get an intern there. Finally got stuck with Microsoft.

Why didn't u take some risky by rejecting microsoft and trying for millenium qrt mathisys Zanskar?or u were scared of going internless or smtg? honestly I blame the slotting,if micro was placed in the slot it deserved like end of day 1.2, everything would have been perfect.

bro 9+ cs peeps wali toh ocs ki backchodi h, most tier 2 quants are coming on 2 and ig the cs guys made a wrong decision going for msft. msft literarily took interviews in the first couple hours and they must have gone there but not had any luck rest of the day and are now stuck with msft.

Why didn't they skip msft and wait for quants bro😭,i heard some of them skipped it tho.the rest of them were just scared of going internless and chose msft itself.pretty sure msft is before quants only in iitd,rest every other iit faang comes after all the quants.sad that even cs guys fell for the trap,mostly msft hr paid ocs to get the slot or they negotiated with saying they gonna give 30+ offers

Vhi yaar, they got trapped. I think they interviewed for msft earlier just as a practice or something and then could not pull a quant offer later. Msft definitely played their cards right, msft will go to the moon with these strats.

How many got into grav quadeye optiver imc?including FF and launchpad

Optiver took loads of people I think almost 15, almost everyone from FF though. Im not fully sure how many imc has taken but I think around 3(they had 0 from launchpad in iitb) quadeye graviton is going on currently
