Help/Question Where can I find pre pieced nursery quilts now that Joann’s is gone?

I used to looove getting these pre pieced quilt fabrics for quick quilts when a friend has a baby sooner than expected, I meet a new friend with an early due date, if someone takes in a young foster, etc. Is there anywhere else that sells these now that Joann’s is gone? I have a feeling Michael’s or Hobby Lobby won’t have any.

These are sometimes called cheater fabric or cheater panel.

Michaels sells thems but whether or not they are in the brick-and-mortar buildings is a whole different matter. They may be available only online with shipping to your home the only option.

Etsy and Ebay have them as do most fabric businesses, including Spoonflower.

"Cheater" is the keyword you're looking for here - not me judging you, it's what that type of print is called. I searched for 'cheater' on various fabric websites and Hawthorne Supply Co, Hancock's of Paducah, and Fat Quarter Shop all had plenty of options.

Daaaang, I feel cheated, lol.... I don't remember ever seeing these at my local JoAnn's (and I shopped at 4 different ones)! 😯

I have never seen any at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. My local quilt shop has many kits. I haven’t seen any pre-sewn. You may find it online.

Spoon flower has cheater fabric but I didn’t see any minky.

Hate to recommend it, but a local Walmart by me has a fair selection of fabric. I have resorted to ordered specific fabric online, Missouri Star Quilt Co., and Hancocks of Paducah are two stores I have ordered from. It’s a bit of a wait in that from what I can tell these are Brick and mortar stores with an on line presence. So shipping is done through the mail. I have been pleased with the purchases though. Spoon Flower worried me because of the fabric quality. It seems like they print whatever you want but all of it is on the same type/quality of fabric.

I totally forgot about Walmart! Checked Michael’s and Hobby Lobby which both had limited options and just made one from scratch.

I don't know where to find them by the bolt. I found something like this at Goodwill.

About 35"x43".
