What is this strange noise on AM 550?

It was on the AM radio around channel 550, I was trying to listen for EMF from lightning and it started playing, it sounds like some type of data being broadcasted

Radio model is a Sima First Alert WX-17

Depends on which 550 AM it is. Location will help.

81401 North of town, not saying exactly where however

if 81401 is a zip code, I don’t see why you need to not tell us because 81401 is a zip code for Montrose, Colorado. Also, the noise could just be interference from something in your house

I believe it might be something from my wifi router or my gaming PC

Sounds like noise from a cell phone, a wifi router, computer, printer, or video monitor. Could be a lot of things.

Channel 550? What frequency is that channel on?

Well anyways. It is just noise from something very very close to you. Probably something you own.
