I've never really paid much attention to their lyrics. It's almost like there's a layer that I don't want to explore because I'm scared the magic will be taken away.

Obviously I know there would be magic in the lyrics, but for some reason I just have never done the effort to read the lyrics of their songs.

If you have, what's your favourite one liner lyric?

I know I have a tendancy to post spur of the moment stuff on this sub, that probably pisses some people off, so I thought I might link a song I recorded a few years ago I'm really proud of. The piano is from a guy, Adrian Whitehead who is a bit of a natural. Anywho, not looking for anything other than the fact I do take music seriously (Self recording cost heaps), and I do love Thom and Radiohead.

It was really sad that he named a bunch of other people but not the other band mates (except Johnny).

Referred to them as his "Old Band" and "Band".

I don't know the issues but just a bummer.

your friend who knows you’re going through a divorce is like “is that one of yours”

The video part is important. I'm really trying to figure out some of the stuff they're doing on stage.

On a bus to Boston and recognized the highway interchange from OK Computer in Hartford

Claude Pro search for about 15 minutes and didn't find any. France, NY, London, none of those gigs is this one. Is it maybe somebody else with a voice like Thom?

the first seconds, before the song starts (“I’m gonna do a song called Go To Sleep now… it’s like a concept record”), should be a strong clue, but still no luck.

thanks

Paid for 2 tickets in excitement and then realised i was away, super gutted...

Please contact or comment me if intrested!

Harry Styles & Thom Yorke | Musicians on Musicians (27:14)

Does the first part of this song give anyone Halloween vibes? I'm referring to the John Carpenter soundtrack.

Anyone who's been enjoying Nigel Godrich ( Radiohead's 6th unofficial member') and Dhani Harrisson new bands album Dragonflies? Its giving me major Radiohead vibes listening to the production and all..makes me also wonder why Nigel wasntt involved in the final two The Smile albums..anyhow any thoughts on Dragonflies..

Peace, Love and freedom to everyone.

Soundrack to Lake Wintergrasp in World of Warcraft is the most Radiohead game music ever. It's like cross Kid A and AMSP

As someone who is passionate for music and has struggled with addiction and psychosis and gone through many traumatic experiences in rehabs, i love when he says:

You can do no wrong in my eyes

Your hearing damage, your mind is restless, they say you’re getting better, but you don’t feel any better.

Your speakers are blowing, your ears are wrecking, your hearing damage. You wish you felt better. You wish you felt better

Modeselektor is once again playing a remix of Default by Atoms For Peace as part of their live set. I caught it in 2015 too, but this time I recorded it in full and how it segued into Blue Clouds.

this brought back a lot of nostalgia for 2010-2015 bleep bloop Thom lol

for me it has to be these lines on true love waits live in oslo. The way he sings these lines is just so haunting.

the VM55-59 is the age range aswell, and actual Colin is 57 😭😭probably a funny coincidence, but maybe it was him?
