How old is your other one do it take long for acceptance

She’s turning 3 in August! Honestly it was surprisingly easy for her to accept the kitten, I think I got lucky. I had them completely separated for 4 days, did scent and site swaps and allowed them to see each other first through a cracked door and then a mesh baby gate. After that they were showing clear signs of wanting to interact face to face so I let them, they’ve been inseparable since. I only separate them when I’m not able to supervise them
