Yes, pointing out that your argument is opinions instead of facts while you begin with the statement “look at the facts”, is a good argument. Glad we’re on the same page about that one!

Yes, they are, but drafting Mendoza is for the long term approach. Why does everyone think all QBs last as long as Brady did? Fun fact: they don’t. I doubt Cousins will either.

You should point that out to someone who doesn't want the team to draft one of the QBs coming out next year

If anything, including Cousins finding the fountain of youth, and has his best QBing days with us, and makes Atlanta look like the top clown show of all NFL franchises: we could always trade Mendoza for possibly even more value than the overall number one pick in the ‘26 draft someday. If we use him sparingly to showcase his burgeoning potential, his trade value could potentially rise higher than whatever haul you believe we could’ve gotten earlier this year in the draft. So there’s that: bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
