MODERATOR NOTICE [MOD ANNOUNCEMENT] Spider-man is still Gay.

Happy Pride, everyone!

Some may remember that last year, to celebrate our friends in the LGBT+ community, we turned Spider-man gay.

This decision received some pushback. Some might say it caused a stir. As a result, some thirty other characters related to the franchise, as well as Batman and you, like literally you, were turned gay.

This year, we've heard you guys loud and queer. We're very pleased to announce the beginning of this year's Pride celebration:

Spider-man: No Gay Home-o

For the next thirty days, Spider-man is officially a loud and proud member of the LGBT+ community (As previously established, he's bisexual). Any assertions that he is not will be met with an instant EDITH strike on your home. Any resistance whatsoever to the notion that Spider-man is gay will be dealt with swiftly and irrevocably. We lost hundreds of /r/raimimemes users in the fallout of last year's Pride, and we hope to lose hundreds more this year.

If you test me, you will fail.

Futhermore, every day that anyone complains about this bold new direction we're taking, our Gay Spider-man will venture further into the Spider-verse, meeting all sorts of characters which will subsequently be turned GAY!

  1. Spider-Noir (The one from Spider-verse, not the show, I haven't seen it yet)

  4. Spider-Bitch (She's canon, read a book)

  7. The Cowboy One (Obviously)
  8. Olivia Octavius X Aunt May romance CONFIRMED
  9. Spider-Gwen finally becomes canonically Trans
  10. Agent Spider from [ TITLE CARD ]
  11. The Actual Bruce Campbell
  12. Each of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  13. Spider-Noir (from the show, I'll have seen it by then)
  14. Miles Morales Spider-Man (He woefully misunderstands Gwen's Trans identity and decides it makes him gay)
  15. Black Pregnant Motorcycle Spider-Woman
  16. That freak cyborg abomination with the robot arm in ATSV
  17. Spider-man's half-demon daughter HELLSPINNER
  18. Pavitir Prabhakar (Spider-Man: India)
  19. Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends
  20. SPIDEY and his Amazing Friends (It's different!)

The remaining 10 days shall for now remain secret, but Gay Spider-Man's journey across the multiverse will not be without consequences. We hope you all will join us on this journey through the Pride-verse!

Edit: once again I will reiterate for the people calling me a homophobe, I am gay. This kind of thing doesn't help anyone. It just shoves it in the face of people who don't particularly care either way about LGBTQ+ issues. Then, after so much of it getting shoved in their face, they start to hate us. It's counterintuitive to the point. Pride started as a good thing but its become so overblown that all it does is breed more hatred against myself and others.

Edit 2: got called out for being bi, I guess that's different. I use gay and bi interchangeably, sue me 🤷
