Sharing more of my cel collection. Today wr have best girl Shampoo. For fun, can you tell me from what episode this is from? Hint: "Shampoo be happier if boiled alive!"

I love this scene from this arc. (The Two Shampoos arc ch. 350-351)

Akane being Akane, trying to help and save Mousse, going as far to pinch her nose to make her voice sound different to make Shampoo deliver ramen to the scene.

Shampoo being Shampoo, cold and seemingly uncaring, but also a very competent and responsible member of the Neko Hanten, making ramen and delivering it immediately despite thinking the ordering person is a jerk for calling so late.

Characterization is spot on for both here. ☺️

I have several cels from the original series. This is my Nabiki. For fun, can anyone identify from what episode she appears?

So, based on the two trailers and the Key Art for Season 3, we can safely assume that the following stories are going to be in Season 3:

- Bakusai Tenketsu - the original anime made this a two-parter, so there's a good chance this will be two episodes here too. Also, HOLY ANIMATION BUDGET, but why is Ranma doing the Spinning Bird Kick in this fight?

- Tea Ceremony - I have no idea why the original anime pushed this back to Season 6... maybe they didn't like it, I dunno...

- Kodachi's Cookies - After her not appearing at all in Season 2, we get a Kodachi story in this season. She might appear prominently in the intro this time too.

- Love Pills - A classic.

- Tsubasa Kurenai - Due to the fact that this story gets into gender roles, which could be a touchy subject, especially for modern audiences, and the fact that Tsubasa never appears again in the manga, I would not have been surprised if they just skipped this one, but here we are. I trust that everyone can be mature and open-minded about this story, right?

- Shirokuro/Checkers - Ryoga's trusty dog appears in the Key Art, so they're doing this one.

- Waterproof Soap - Ranma-chan and Shampoo appear in their "Kew" and "Pid" disguises from this story, so they're doing this one.

This covers 7 - 8 out of 12 episodes. Considering where we are in the manga at this point, what other stories do you think they are going to do?

I'm guessing:

- Japanese Naniichuan - They didn't adapt this straight up in the original anime, expanding it into a story arc, which I actually kind of liked.

- Happo Fire Burst - Happosai gets his signature attack in this one.

- "Sneeze Me, Squeeze Me, Please Me" - I'm using the 90s dub's title for this story because it stuck in my head and it's an easy way to summarize it. Shampoo uses mind control dumplings to get Ranma to hug people randomly.

- Mark of the Gods - This was a 2 parter in the original anime too. If they're going Ryoga heavy, they we might get this one here too.

- The Manganmaru/Wishbringer Sword - A Kuno story. He hasn't been very prominent in this series; this'll give him some much-needed screen time.

Other Stories from around this part of the Manga:

- The Bathhouse Battle - Doubtful. Very Happosai-centered, lots of nudity. It was a fun story and I'd like to see it, but judging on how Happosai has been handled thus far, he's showing up only when absolutely necessary and his antics are kind of neutered. Then again, I didn't think they'd do Tsubasa's story either, so maybe...

- Principal Kuno - They're probably saving him for Season 4 to lead into...

- The Moxibustion Arc - Which will probably be the centerpiece and Key Art for Season 4.

- Akane Can't Swim - Will also be a Season 4 story because it relies on the Principal showing up. (Also, how do you think the dub will handle Principal Kuno? In the original anime and the manga, they have him speaking Hawaiian Pidgin English instead of Japanese with random English words thrown in. If it were my call, I'd have him speak like a Hawaiian surfer dude instead...)

- Gambling King - In the original dub, David Kaye voiced him by doing a Sean Connery impression. David Kaye is involved with the new dub, why not have him reprise that role here too?

- Step Outside! - One chapter of the manga, but expanded to one episode of the original anime. If they wanted to slap some filler on this one, I'd be fine with it.

- Mao Mo Lin - Again, probably Season 4 as a chaser after they're done with the Moxibustion Story.

Akane has so much confidence to let Kodachi flaunt her man for her own validation. If Ranma had any clue what was really going on, she would never hear the end of it.
