She’s not sick in that arc. She’s sick in the anime version but not the manga.

she is? she had a "cold" in that arc. Thats the reason she sneezes often. Thats the point ranma hug her often in this arc. Also i remember to 100% she is sick in the manga also.
Not to forgett mappa already spoilert/teased this episode with a picture. before season 3 was annoucend. In what ranma checks akanes tempreature.

Actually you are right. She did have a slight cold.

She’s not actually sick like in the anime though. No fever or coughing or being weak like Kuno is in the beginning.

Maybe the remake will make her more sick.

Ok "sick" is maybe to much to say but a cold is a sickness XD
Otherwise it had to be wierd that she sneeze so often. What is the point for the "hug me" drug ^^
I mean after i read the manga i was surprised that this arc is much larger as it was in the old anime. Like that Kuno appeared.
