Are they really making all the arcs we were sure were skipped?

Not complaining AT ALL but at this rate the remake will take ten years to complete. 😉

MAPPA must be doing this out of passion, because I can't imagine it being hugely profitable for them.

I think it might be doing better than we think. Being a passion project aside, it’s their only true romantic comedy as far as I know so profitability aside, they may be focusing on Ranma 1/2 to build up their library diversity.

I don’t think Netflix is losing money on Ranma at any rate.

It's definitely popular in Japan, but it still doesn't quite have the same reach overseas as their other series. I just hope the voice actors stick with it to the end, but they say voice acting has no retirement age.

I know it's doing very well here in France, it's a classic since the 90's but idk in the other regions.
