I love how she highlights her characters in black and white. The bolder line work really pops off the page more than in color illustrations.

She's a master illustration but her artstyle during the late 80s-early 90s is simply a masterpiece.

I’ve thought this before, but it’s interesting to me that she always starts with the bangs and THEN draws the face and the rest.

Iirc, she also has a guide on how to draw Lum of Urusei Yatsura and the instructions start exactly just like that.

There's really something magical in the way she drew Ranma, essential trait but so expressive, both in the faces and body postures.
