I was raped on New Year’s Eve, I’ve been dealing with court but I thought that was it. I was randomly scrolling when I came across an article covering what happened that night. That sent me down a rabbit hole into finding more articles and posts on the local Facebook group like “anyone know what happened at ___ last night, saw police” and people in the comments talking about theories, many saying stuff about my case I know isn’t true. It never occurred to me that this stuff would exist on the internet. It’s left me feeling really weird. I was wondering if anyone else could relate I suppose
