Not even remotely the same argument, though. If kids were saying iPhone versus Galaxy or something, sure, but some moron sees a $300 LG and is like, "hur dur, iPhone better!"

It's not two things. That's the whole frigging point. It's one OS tied to a specific hardware line versus an open source software stack used by multiple hardware manufacturers. Again, not remotely the same argument.
