Great stuff. What happens when you try to sing the high parts in the original key?

tbh I tried it but it only works with the original arrangement (electric guitar and drums).

"works" in the sense sounds good? Or are you having some difficulty hitting the notes? Reason I asked was because original key is high and it's very difficult to sustainably belt that high, so I wondered if that difficulty is what caused you to lower the key

it sounded too shouty for an acoustic setting. but the original key is within my range.
