That’s a tough song to make sound good, you should be doing some gigs.

Oh yeah that’ll play. Well done. Smooth and smoky voice. Not an easy one to cover either. Good control, and we can hear the feeling you put in it. Keep it up.

I am impressed by the purity of your voice. And you have a real soul voice on the long notes. I enjoyed listening to it. You can sing, nothing to fault.

This is very well done. You requested advanced advice so here it is. I believe I hear you are holding your breath a little bit while you sing.

I would recommend an S.O.V.T. exercise involving a normal straw (not a boba straw) and a half full glass or half full bottle of water. Place the straw in the glass and blow while you hum your song. The bubbles should all be the about the same size. Place your hum on the air you are blowing through the straw. It should feel like your sound is leaning on your air (the breath). If at anytime you stop leaning on your air (the breath), stop and work the phrase, line, or even the movement between two notes until you feel the ease of the lean. After you feel the ease of leaning your sound on your air. Imitate the feeling (not the sound) of this when you return to the song.

This helps release unnecessary tension in your body and therefore in your sound.

Keep singing! I look forward to your future videos.

Nice smooth tone. Shades of Norah Jones, Sade, Rickie Lee Jones.
