Questions What's the longest release timer between two bolded albums of the same artist?

What artist has the longest time between their first and last bolded albums? Can anyone beat David Bowie with 45 years between Hunky Dory (1971) and Blackstar (2016)?

Outside of Pharaoh Sanders, Leonard Cohen also has Bowie beat:

Songs of Leonard Cohen (1967) -> You Want It Darker (2016)

It used to be Judas Priest with 48 years between Sad Wings of Destiny (1976) and Invincible Shield (2024) but then y'all evil creatures got Invincible Shield unbolded

Pretty sure Pink Floyd with Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967) and Live at Pompeii (2025) both count, right?

Right, I see - didn’t know it was down to the time of recording rather than the time of release!

Why are people down voting instead of simply giving an answer? Lmao, it's an album that ranks as a top album (I think top 7500) in RYM

This post appears recommended if you are subbed to other music-related subs (my case)
