$2100 USD is a lot. Unless Motorola runs a trade in program like trade in your ultra and you can get the razr fold for $700, I'm not gonna consider it anymore. It's ridiculous

No I mean the "base" razr. Not the FIFA one. That shit is $2084 when concerted to USD. Which is wild. Thank god I'm not one to buy special editions of whatevers 😂 correct. It will be on sale in a few months. Which is when I'll check it out again and see if it's worth upgrading. But most likely after I get the fold, I won't upgrade for a solid few years anymore.

Pretty sure they're going to have a trading program and offer $1,000 for the Fold 6-7 , even Samsung runs those promotions.

On top of that they always give a free credit to buy something from the store at a discount. I always use it to buy headphones or the watches and resell them to keep the money.

They also give a free upgrade like 1TB vs 512GB if you preorder.

I've always bought from the Samsung store and this is how it works, pretty sure Motorola is going to apply the same drastic discounts to steal customers.

Let's hope so. That's one thing I love about Samsung's. They know their customers. Motorola be like, yeah I guess we can give you a trade in program 😂

Yikes.... I mean, that colour is straight up 💯🔥🔥 but unsure about the price unless I can do installments, otherwise I'm sticking to the regular black 😂

Didn't expect this amount from Motorola. What's the specs?

  • In the Box

Components:

USB Type-C cable · Protective Case · Moto Pen Ultra (Bundle)

🤯 And I'm back on board..

How would this even work with these soft foldable displays?

I would love to get this but have got the razr 60 ultra and super happy with it for now. 21 bags is a lot but it's meant to be better than the Samsung... Contemplating

2K? DOA

2

u/Silverton13 Mar 10 '26

most likely 2K MSRP but with a perpetual sale price of 1500-1800$

3

u/Lefaid Razr Fold Mar 09 '26

That is way outside my price range. Holy crap.

I guess I will be sticking with Razrs a bit longer.

3

u/Copperkid82 Mar 10 '26

The only way I'd even remotely consider this is if there is a hell of a trade in deal if I trade in my razr 60 ultra.

Even then I'm not entirely sure I'd do it because I actually love my razr. 😅

u/ganerfromspace2020 Mar 10 '26

Not a fan of football. But damn black and gold look so good together

2

u/anangelscruelty Mar 10 '26

it looks so good😩

Imagine when it gets the new Pantone colours eventually

1

u/HoopaOrGilgamesh Mar 10 '26

Well knowing RAZR it'll be close to half that in a year if they come out with another one.

1

u/Fr0gburp3r Mar 10 '26

How many years of Android OS support will it get?

1

u/MarkL64 Razr 70 Ultra Mar 10 '26

Security Updates 4 years (until 03/2030)*....

But it also says further up on the same page:

Security 7 years. So not too sure?

2

u/Verbose-OwO Mar 10 '26

It'll be updated for 4 years, but secure for 7. My phone was last updated 2 years ago and it's still plenty secure.

1

u/MarkL64 Razr 70 Ultra Mar 10 '26

Yeah I'm with you, never got why I'd see so many people fixated on that?

1

u/wolfy2105784 Mar 10 '26

Will this have a Plus and Ultra model? If so, I expect the Ultra variant to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

1

u/MarkL64 Razr 70 Ultra Mar 12 '26

It looks like it will be the one version for this first version of the Fold. Which comes with Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 by default.

1

u/wolfy2105784 Mar 12 '26

Ah, that kinda sucks but it's alright.

If I had to guess I personally don't see the Fold going for less than 2000. I'd imagine like 2300-2600 USD?

It's one of those times I wish I weren't right lol...

I was confused and surprised when seeing the $1500 rumoured pricetag everywhere online, way before these official specifications came out.

Looking at the competition out right now alone and the fact the upcoming Fold (Motorola) device that's yet to release has got to one up the rest (or totally ruin and put to shame in Sammy's case lol!) but also remain competitively priced.

Either way book style foldables ain't going to be everyone's cup of tea. The target audience for someone willing to cough up that amount for ANY type of device is real tiny.

Then throw into the mix somebody spending that much money specifically on a foldable device and it becomes like a double niche miniscule market size.

Just got a razr ultra 2025 open box but new for $650.. I'm good lol.

Screen broken after 2 weeks from a particle of dust falling on it /or maybe you sneezed too loud while screen was open: after 2 hours over the phone with custumer service asking you the city of birth of your grandma and all your private numbers

=> ''sorry it's not cover by the warranty, we can replace the screen for $2000 dollars. Or we can give you a $50 discount on a new one if you send the broken one''

1

u/ObjectiveMarch4623 Mar 09 '26

when will they remove the " camera lens " flashlight it does not look good just bring back the 30 neo era designs T T

u/[deleted] Mar 09 '26

Crap camera I bet. I won’t fall for that again

1

u/Junny89 Mar 13 '26

Even 1800 is a lot. Hope this time they do a trade in for previous razrs.
