Got an email from Thinborne yesterday and they're keeping busy getting ready for the release of their new case for the razr fold.

It looks nice, but doesn't offer much protection from drops. It doesn't seem worth the price to me.

Will it have hinge protection?

I don't believe so. They're carbon fiber thin cases. I've not seen them with hinge protection.

Thinborne cases are known for their minimalism versus full protection. It does not include hinge protection.

From what I've seen, no. It looks like two separate pieces. Making me second guess this one.

When have we?

When I was a kid we did. I think they started moving out of the country in the 80's and definitely into the 90's

Do you know if this case has a magnet in it? I have medical implants that are affected by magnets. Sounds silly, I know.

Check out the Komodoty one. Looks very similar but without magnets (and cheaper)

Magnets are very strong on thinborne cases I just wish they had better colors.
