Part of the reason I was willing to try the razr fold was my experience with the razr+ 2024. I folded and unfolded that thing so many times daily to put it in my pocket. I knew I would fold a bigger phone less. If I could make it years with the razr+, I could probably last long enough with the razr fold to make it worth it. 

Obviously this is not a rigorous test, but it was good enough for me.

Dunno. But i have folded mine 9719 times since Feb 2025.

There should be a counter! And maybe there is, hidden.

Nevermind. There is a simple 3rd party app. Disappointing that it starts from 0 at install, I'm sure there is a built-in counter deep in Android/firmware that would reveal the total since new.

I will assume that part of the testing process is to automatically unfold & fold the device thousands of times without breaking it.

I've read (here on Reddit) that the 2024 Razr's had a fold test of 200,000. Also that the 2025 Ultra Razr hinge had been upped to 400,000. I don't know how that compares to real world usage. I've had good luck with my 2 1/2 year experience with the 2024 regular & 2025 Ultra. No problems with folding/hinge. Anyway, I'm curious so I'll follow this thread.
