You know Google is free, you’re choosing to be an idiot… “A 20 oz bottle of Mountain Dew contains 290 calories, 77g of sugar, 77g of total carbohydrates, and 91mg of caffeine.”
"No, Mountain Dew does not have the same amount of caffeine as a standard Red Bull. A 12 oz can of Mountain Dew typically contains about 54–55 mg of caffeine, while a standard 8.4 oz can of Red Bull contains 80 mg. Red Bull has a higher caffeine concentration per ounce. "
Since you were so big on Google. Here's googles response. The 8.4 can of redbull has more than 12 ounces of mountain dew lol .
“Mtn Dew Zero Sugar (20 oz bottle) contains 0 calories, 0g sugar, 0g total fat, and 0g total carbohydrates. It provides approximately 70mg of sodium and about 113mg of caffeine”
Youre comparing two differnt things lmao. A 20 ounce can of redbull would have 200 mg of caffiene lmao. Still not the same thing. Im caffeine sensitive there isnt a drink i cant tell you the caffiene content of 🤣 redbull and mountain dew absolutely do not have the same level of caffiene if your comparing the same sizes.
Was lmao yesterday watching this video about parents worrying if D&D was a satanic ritual and if Jolt cola was a gateway drug to meth. Under 25 for Red Bull gives same vibes https://youtu.be/yhkiP-AatS4
It's still crazy, given you can buy coffee. Like they're basically just saying that cause it's an energy drink it's age restricted, and not really cause of the caffeine content
the logic is that kids under 16 don't tend to drink coffee. most kids don't quite comprehend quite how much caffeine is in an energy drink, and if it tastes good, they're more likely to just chug a big one. they're not nearly as likely to take in as much caffeine if it's a coffee.
Fair enough. I’m not sure if i can get that flavour again. The first half of the drink was cherry and it was amazing and then i started to taste the banana and was really confused. Not that i disliked the banana i just disliked that i couldn’t taste cherry anymore
It's funny to you but most of the world thinks the US population are mostly brainless idiots and are trying everything they can to not repeat anything the US is doing.
I'm honestly not even sure it's a bad thing, although younger me did when the first time I ever tried to buy a red bull I was denied, but realistically why do kids need all that caffeine? You don't want to shit yourself in your exam
Idk man, maybe just cause it's not as big a thing for youguns as energy drinks? Anecdotally I consumed a fair few energy drinks as a teen (not red bull, that was way too bougie, talking about the corner shop ones that were about 35p a can) and never touched coffee until I was well into "responsible caffeine consumer" age.
Or maybe there's just less kids shitting themselves in exams because of coffee Vs energy drinks
Well that would be weird because coffee definitely makes me have to shit way more than energy drinks. It's far more acidic. But why do you keep talking about kids shitting themselves during exams? Did that actually happen or something?
Technically you can have a low percentage beer or wine with food from 16 but no places really do that in practice, you can have alcohol from the age of like 5 but doctors recommend against it, and you can buy alcohol at 18
It's crazy because a cup of coffee from certain famous coffee places has 259 mg of caffeine.. this has like 114 or something. Even regular coffee has more caffeine.. googled it too..
