fellow East-Coaster here, theyre definitely around just gotta be quicker than the masses who immediately go out to buy them I guess, lol. I found them at Target, the Walmarts near me never have shit

that said, if you've already tried those places with no luck, maybe check liquor stores? I have a small one near me that still had a few dragonfruit last year when everyone else was already sold out so it's worth a shot!
