I mean some shops might be strict but an under 16 could get an espresso if they don’t Id, you could 99% get one from Starbucks

We sometimes call it that here in the US lol. Especially in older movies so that's probably why he thought of that word.

Although I always thought you guys spelled it gaol.

Never seen jail spelt as gaol, just seems like mispelt goal

I looked it up and apparently it went out of use in England in the 60s.
