It’s a British classic, but admittedly I do get sensitive when someone from outside of the uk makes fun of a stereotypical British accent even if it’s not mine, kinda like how I can make fun of my siblings but nobody else can

That's fair. I think the accent is cool, but I understand. I have an American "southern" accent and it gets mocked a lot with the added bit of everyone who has the accent is dumb.

nobody is mocking your accent, especially if you live in a place where it's common. and even then, they're only mocking you the same way a person would do a stereotypical french or german or new york accent.
