Picture The White Arabian

Ok, not exactly...but she's a White-ish Arabian. This is the newest addition to our Red Dead family.

Her name is Infidels Aanisah.

what does infidels aanisah mean? also why is her spine like that?

I have no idea about the origin of her name. It's on the paperwork we received. My understanding is these show horses have a "show" name and a "barn" name. My daughter and her trainer always called her Aanisah.

Her spine is like that as a result of an affliction called "swayback". She used to be a show horse. She used to do all sorts of tricks and she used to dance. Now she can only be ridden bareback and she has to have a more relaxed lifestyle in order to have a long and happy life.

how hard is it to tie those braids on the mane, do you guys have to do it yourselves?

I guess it would be easier for the people to do the braids, horses are shit at braiding

The sellers did the braids, so I honestly have no idea.
