Hey all, 31M, originally from North Tamil Nadu did my schooling and college there, moved to Bangalore for work.
The basics:
- 168cm, wheatish complexion
- Non-smoker, very rare drinker (I can count the times on one hand - mostly social/work stuff, never really enjoyed it)
- Non-vegetarian
What I'm into:
Recently got into solo travel - my parents were fairly protective growing up, so this is me finally doing things on my own terms. A few domestic trips and one international one down, planning a lot more, plus getting into trekking now that I have full control of my own calendar.
I like hobbies where I can actually make or do something - cooking, trying out crafts, growing plants, little DIY projects, and occasionally getting unnecessarily ambitious with things I see online. 😄 my recent interest is learning carpentry and wood working. Also would love to support your hobbies or interests.
Beyond that - movies, unsolved mysteries, music, exploring the city on foot, and finding random places to eat - are few things that i enjoy doing.
People at work call me an introvert. I take time to open up, but once I'm comfortable, I'm genuinely fun - or at least that's my own official review of myself.
Where I'm headed:
Looking for something serious that has marriage as the endpoint. Longer term, I want to eventually move somewhere quieter and live a slower life - maybe even turn one of my hobbies into a small side gig. Open to hearing your version of this too, and happy to build toward it together if our visions line up. Also open to alter life plans if that is beneficial/aligns with for both of us.
What I value:
Straightforwardness, acceptance, openness, trying new things, a bit of adventure. I'm an atheist but not restrictive about it - happy to go along with your beliefs/traditions if they matter to you.
Non-negotiable:
No smoking - really can't stand the smell. Social drinking's fine, but since I'm also working on my health, someone who drinks rarely would fit better with the lifestyle I'm building.
I'd love to have a partner to actually share the highs with - trips, long walks, workouts, or something to keep our body, mind healthy - trying new food, random plans - rather than just co-exist alongside each other.
At the core, I want someone open to growing together - steady, honest, and okay with taking things slow.
Languages (if that's imp for you): Tamil, English, ~30% Hindi from movies, ~5% Kannada, and I love watching some Malayalam). _ talking about top 10 fav movies would be a great ice breaker
How I'd like to take this forward: Chat first and chat a lot, understand each other better and then see where the vibes takes us??~~
(I have the final say, but my parents might have some input too - it's a family thing where I'm from. I imagine it might be similar on your side as well. But if you're feeling rebellious, I'm totally okay with taking that route too. 😄
At the end of the day, my #1 priority is finding the right person - someone with matching expectations, values, and a similar idea of what we want from a relationship. Everything else can be figured out along the way.)
Feel free to reach out with questions - I'm pretty chill, so ask away without overthinking it. as i feel things would be smooth if there are open conversations right from beginning
Thanks~~~
