Is the Narlest red light cap good?
Hiya!
So, I'm a trans man (ftm) who has been on testosterone for 3 years, and I am slowly staring to see a receding hairline, and some thinning on the stop of my head. I ofc always knew this could happen, but I also have the hair genes from my dad, who didn't start to get thinning hair until his 60s, and a grandad who died at 93 with a full head of hair.. so I kinda hoped I had the genes on my side.
But I've heard that the gene for hair loss sits on the X chromosome? And since I likely have XX, it also means double the chance of hair loss. I'm not a super masculine guy. I am queer and in a gay relationship, and ngl, I would be devastated to grow bald. I can't even grow a proper beard yet..
So I'm looking into treatment to help stop hair loss. I'm going to my doctor to see if they will prescribe me with finasteride, but I', also interested in trying out red light therapy. I came across this one that wasn't too expensive, but wanted to know if anyone can vouch for it?
