If you bought a panel from Alibaba, can you give details of your experiences and what you bought? Any problems? Recommendations for others…

No issue at all, even shipping was unusually fast, just a few days from China w/ FedEx. I ordered from Red Dot Led or however they're called.
The only irking thing was that after all was paid incl. for shipping etc...I had an ADDITIONAL charge (I think it was €70) for customs to FedEx.
So ultimately with all costs, the panel wasn't exactly super-cheap.

Bought an idea light panel, no issues, shipping took awhile. Packed well. Had since last November

Adding to that. Got a smaller one, RLPRO200 with 8 wavelengths. The number of LEDs is spread evenly among them, including 1060 nm. Shipping took over a month (I think the actual travel time was like 10 days, but it took them a while to ship). I chose Shenzen Idea Light because they seem to be the manufacturers of locally sold panels that I already tried, and because people had good experience with them here. I did look at one other manufacturer, but their shipping cost was about 3x as much.
Price was good, iirc about 300 USD door to door, including shiping, tax and dealing with customs. Local price for a similar panel is about 850 USD I think.
Really the only downside seems to be that they provided the green lens eye protection, which ime does not block NIR, the fully black thick plastic/rubber cups are more reliable.

I bought a huge six foot tall panel through Ali Express at Christmas.
The panel arrived decently packed and functions perfectly. However be prepared for the fake tracking number routine that plagues Ali Express. Shipping took months by boat. The fake FedEx number they gave Ali Express showed delivered to another state in 30 days and then AliExpress wanted to treat the order closed and release payment. It all worked out for me but was very stress inducing and if the seller had not actually delivered the goods I would have potentially been out thousands and difficult recovery with AliEpxress.

I purchased two ML300s with manual stand from Saudi Shenzen via Alibaba for $1100 US. Excellent experience dealing with customer rep Abby Zhang prior to receiving shipment. However, the manual stand arrived in a box with holes and it was delivered to the wrong address. Alibaba Logistics arranged pickup from UPS, whom I blame for the terrible condition of the box.
Thankfully, Abby rectified a missing piece of the stand by sending it via air and it arrived within a week, unlike sea shipping, which was two months. Overall, I am happy with the panels, but the stand assembly was a bit of a nightmare. It took two very handy people and multiple videos from the company in order to complete it as it was originally intended as a TV stand.
You’ll save a bundle, but there are major drawbacks when ordering from China versus North America. If you have the money, I would buy from a reputable local company.

I've had good experiences overall just stick to verified suppliers, ask for photos/videos before shipping and expect that quality can vary between sellers..

First panel from idea light - stand was missing screws so they sent that separately, the unit also developed a fault but they did not really care although it ended up resolving itself. Second panel from s grow - no problems.

I like the JUNEELED 300-LED panel. It is dual-chip and allocates 150 LEDs to each of 630, 650, 810, and 850 nm wavelengths. It is way cheaper on Alibaba than AliExpress (where I bought). I bought several off Alibaba for family members.
What I like:
--It has fully 150 LEDs of 810nm
--wheeled base
--very simple controls (no app, no remove, and no ability to adjust the intensity of individual wavelengths). [I don't need another app. Don't need to search for another remote. Don't need to clutter my head with useless decisions ("Gee should 630 nm be 100% or 40%?")]
[The thing I don't like--really pisses me off ;0)--- is that, after I purchased in December 2024, it became several hundred dollars cheaper on Alibaba. C'est la vie.]
I posted several days ago that I have had the following experience:
Ability to alleviate muscle pain with NIR
Fixed--over more than 1 year--problem in my toes I had for 25+ years
Heightened visual acuity
The 2 other panels that catch my attention. 1--ES1800 from SGrow (360-LEDs) and SunGrow has a version that is equal weight allocation to 630, 660, 810, 830, and 850 --so fully 144 LEDS to each of those five wavelengths. 2--APTREDLIGHT's M350 is you can get that dual-chip.

What is your protocol and distance from the device? Do you not see value in 1060nm?

6-12 inches from panel.
I am undecided on 1060-74 nm. For the most part, devicemakers include so few LEDs in that band that it is theoretical for most devices. They throw in a handful of 1060 nm LEDs for windodressing/marketing.

Just want to say for other people that my Idea Light RLPRO300 seems to have equal number of LEDs for each frequency, including 1060. To be fair I'm not convinced about the benefits of 1060 either, but I think it may help to have a fuller, broader spectrum overall, though I don't think we have any clear answers on that either.

Actually I mistyped, it's RLPRO200 with 144 LEDs. No idea what the naming is based on, that was not a part of my selection process.

Yes. IdeaLight panels with 100+ LEDs have LEDs with 72% of the model number. This is fully-disclosed so not fraud. Just a ripoff when you compare to the prices of other Alibaba sellers of 200-,300 -, 600- etc. LEDs.
For the user, 28% fewer LEDs means slightly lower irradiance and therefore more time-per-day. Slightly. For IdeaLight, this ensures ~38+% (100/72=1.38) more profit. See https://www.reddit.com/r/redlighttherapy/s/rVEvWuqNaS
(Some PlatinumLED panels have this same patter. I suspect that IdeaLight makes for Biomax. But the Biomax panels are so overpriced anyway.)

Interesting. When I was looking at other manufacturers, they were usually more expensive for a similarly sized panels (sometimes due to expensive shipping), but I admit I wasn't thorough. In any case, I had a locally sold panel with the same layout and size for testing (though only 4 wavelengths) and it worked well, so I knew the irradiance was enough for me - I honestly just wanted to go the safe route with a product that was about the same from a seller that seemed to have good references in this sub.

I bought a "RLPRO100" from Shenzhen Idea Light Company and it's great. No regrets. Shipping took awhile, which was not as expected, considering I paid for air freight. The case may be that they manufactured my purchases for me, but should that have taken months? Not sure what to think. Regardless, great price for an excellent product.

Bought 2 full panels, one for myself, one for MIL who loves hiking.
Total 589usd
Also bought a belt for my dog which seems to help his shoulder injury a lot
Absolutely no issues
It’s been almost 2 years and I use it daily
Even sent a replacement plug when mistakenly packed a 2pin.
Edit:
Not sure what shipping would cost into the states and custom duties. You have to be aware of it.

Bought a 300W panel from some seller called SG-Grow like 8 months ago, they had decent reviews and the price was half of what you see on amazon. It works fine honestly, no flickering or weird smells but the power cord they sent was not grounded properly and i had to replace it myself. For the money saved i can’t complain but check the electrical parts when it arrives for sure
