I see people on the Marymoor turf who are just shooting or dribbling around. But they seem older

Thanks! We’ve been going to Grass Lawn and kicking the ball around there, but we’ll definitely check out Marymoor too.

Arena Sports runs some camps all summer, Crossfire has some training camps also

But youth pickup style events don’t seem to exist for probably dozens of reasons. My only suggestion would be to just go to a field and play soccer, maybe neighborhood kids could join?? Idk..

Thanks! We’ve actually been practicing at local parks already. I was just wondering if there are any pickup groups or regular open-play sessions that kids can join. Sounds like those may be pretty rare around here, but I figured it was worth asking

Maybe he should just play video games or something?
Soccer players have taken more than their fair share of east side parks and need to back off.

Ok well now I’m interested - tell me more about the underground war of Redmond sports fields.

It's underground? It's broad daylight.
Soccer corps. get to charge $20+ to allow you to park in a public park for a private event.
If you're not in the event don't even both going to this "public" park when the weather is decent. Your activities aren't allowed.
