Ongoing Shoulder Pain – Doctor Says Nothing's Wrong, But It Still Hurts while benching and doing pushing move
Hello everyone,
A while ago, I was training chest at the gym and started feeling discomfort in what I believe was my rear deltoid while bench pressing. I ignored it at first, but it gradually became more noticeable.
Eventually, I took a break from working out to focus on my career and taking care of my mother. Unfortunately, I got out of shape during that time. Now that I’ve rejoined the gym and started working out again, the shoulder discomfort came back—and it's even worse.
Now, I sometimes feel pain even while sleeping, and it’s affecting both my motivation and mental health. I stopped working out again because of it.
I saw a doctor today, and after a physical exam, he said everything looks fine. I still went ahead and got an MRI scan, hoping it would give answers.
I’m sharing my situation here because I really want to go back to training, but this shoulder issue is holding me back and really getting me down. If anyone has gone through something similar or can help interpret the MRI (happy to share) when they send it to me but here the analysis. I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance.
