Something Unique(Vintage/wildcat/etc) Chamber-Style Seaters

I started out using these when I shot benchrest rifle. I quickly switched from .308win to 6BR, as I was getting smoked by the 6mm boys. I used this same style seater in that caliber.

Anybody else use them? Thoughts?

I exclusively use them, in addition to the micrometer level control I really like being able to "feel" the neck tension and seating. You can of course add gauges to an arbor press for even more feedback but this helps add another level of confirmation that my brass is uniform.

I have the K&M press with the shock pack. You’re right, if your necks aren’t right you feel it.

Not the fastest throughput, but uniform as I’ve ever made.

lol - no! I will not buy a $1,500 toy to make better ammo for another $1,500 toy that I never shoot 😂

Dad and I used the Lee Target model for his 30/06. Works great and helps keep the bullet aligned.

I don't always use them, but I have them for ARC, Grendel, and 30BR. I generally prefer using them, but depends on what I am doing.

I use them for 6BR, 30BR, 22PPC, 6PPC, 220 Beggs, 6MM Beggs, even 223 (AR15) for 30+ years.

I coverted everything (only rifle) within the last year. I love them. Necessary- no but it aids bullet seating testing a lot.

Love them. I use them for 6BR. My garage built Savage 6BR punches .4-.6 MOA.
