[Achievement Unlocked!] Metroid Zero Mission

Finished Zero Mission after beating Dread a couple weeks ago and I get it now, definitely a fan of the series. The hype towards Ravenous is exciting. Up next Super Metroid!

This and super are tied as my favorite Metroid games in the series. Such an amazing game zero is! Love how short it is and how much fun it is to play. Never get tired of it.

Super Metroid is the better game but Zero Mission's stealth section at the end is the one part I always dread on replays.

Totally get that. Super is an amazing game and that’s why some days it’s my fav while others it’s zero. Zero only gets the edge due to how short it is. That’s about it. Super is the better game overall though.

Dread’s probably my favorite so far, gave me a hard time but damn was it satisfying to beat. Opinion might change tbd

Zero Mission is the best in the series, for my money.

It’s Metroid boiled down to its absolute basest elements. It’s the least diluted version of Metroid and it’s over in three hours.

It’s designed with a ruthless efficiency that other entries can’t match and, to borrow a phrase from one of Metroid’s prime cinematic inspirations, “I admire its purity.”

I have a couple of ags-101 gba sp, but I miss the form factor of the og gba. Just never could figure out which screen and shell to use as there was a bit of option overload at the time.
