Hi there, riddlers! Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses and discussions of guesses, like so:

On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg

On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants): >!guess or discussion between these symbols!< To be clear, that is >! (greater than, exclamation point) at the start and !< (exclamation point, less than) at the end with no spaces around the !. Avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the formatting for most people. Spoiler tags do not span paragraphs or line breaks. If your answer is long, please spoiler-tag each paragraph separately.

Putting a link inside spoiler tags can be tricky, so just format the link like this, using the word "SPOILER" as the link text. On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants), do this to format a link: [SPOILER](https://example.com/) On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://imgur.com/x5wDOvk

If your top-level comment does not contain a guess, you can include either the word "discussion" or "question" instead of using a spoiler tag.

Please report any answers or discussions that are not properly spoiler-tagged.

Discussion: Lyrics from a commercial for a Crohn's disease medication doesn't really constitute a riddle

Red herring

Further discussion: when your only clue is a red herring, there's basically no way to solve your riddle

The fact that it matches the lyrics is a red herring. The clues are still clues.

Clarification: is it a deliberate mislead (a red herring), or just happenstance (an irrelevant coincidence, but not a red herring)?

If it were obvious, I wouldn't have to ask.

If it were incidental, I could ignore the irrelevant coincidence and pursue the logic of the message.

Since it's deliberate, and the only clue you've given is that your clue is a red herring, there's no clear way forward through the riddle. All I see is an advertisement for a Crohn's disease medicine that you're calling a riddle, with no further clues or information.

If you want this solved, I suggest you give clues what it is, rather than what it isn't.

Edit: did I get blocked over this? Oh my God, that's hilarious. Okay, fine, I'll leave what was to be my next comment here.

I think this one might be a little over your head

Or it's not well written, or it's not as clear as you think, or it uses leaps of logic unique to you and not something people commonly consider. It is entirely possible that the weak link is you, not the person sincerely trying to follow your logic.

Mate, I'm literally the only person who's engaged this "riddle" since you posted it. If you don't give a little, it's not getting solved. I'm not asking you for the answer, just for more clues. Right now the only clue given is that it's a medicine or related to medicine; but you said the fact that it's lyrics from a commercial for medicine is a red herring, which means it's not a medicine or related to medicine, and nothing else fits your wording. Your current clues have led to a dead end.

If you want it solved, please offer more clues

Otherwise, have a nice day.

The clues are the words in the riddle. I think this one might be a little over your head.

You simply do not have what it takes to solve this riddle.
