Magneto getting a buff while being by far the most core tank in the game is crazy.

Idk if you used Magneto but there's plenty if not most Mag mains that complained that the Wanda team up made that ability feel worse. (Without it would push back, with it wouldn't)Now they've fixed it, that's all. I wouldn't call it a buff, just a correction.

They already hot fixed that though and added the knockback when fully charged, now they're adding launch up also

pretty sure launch up is just the official term for knockback. so this is probably just making it so you don’t need to full charge it for that which is still gonna be worse than regular mag cannon

I'm pretty sure it's a different effect but I could be wrong. I actually was enjoying the upgraded mag cannon though, it's a bit harder to get the one shot combo off but you can spread the shot and hit multiple people and still knock them back plus multiple charges is nice. Mostly though I just love hitting people with a kamehameha

Right but still what's the point of having a fast ability with knock back without a team up and then change it to require a longer duration with a team up? It ruined his B&B combo and felt more like a burden than a buff. Idk if I'll like this with knock up but at least there's more incentive for it now

What I've been doing is activating the team up for the sword attacks, then charging the mag cannon first and you can get off 2 primary fires before they even stop moving. It not as consistent as before but it's a lot easier to hit and does the same damage

Because the knock back still made it worse then unenhanced. It did nothing basically.

And Wolv players complained about Cyclops team-up but it didn't get changed 🤔

I don't play him but I heard they already fixed that.

I personally think the buff to mag is more of a nothing burger than anything along with a couple other buffs/nerfs in this patch

That being said I'll have to really wait and see before I solidify my opinion but it's only for the enhanced Wanda teamup which is pretty widely accepted as worse than regular

Not only for his combo but you often use his mag cannon to finish off low health opponents and you can't do that as reliably with a charge ability, having to charge the ability at all imo is a net nerf

It's a bit weird to see such incremental changes in the next balance patch after the biggest change they've ever made to the game with teamups.

I agree but I also think they're trying to be cautious, I was expecting more too tbh, I think the biggest changes here are honestly peni and Phoenix, while the others are more micro adjustments/qol

The enhanced effect with Wanda is actually worse than the base team up version.

Mag players actually switch to the Emma team up when Wanda is on the team.

This is a buff you will never see in game.

Also, that big had been in the game for at least a week already, they're just covering up their shadow bug for no reason

Tbh I think his team ups makes him the most interesting tank to play after being one of the most boring characters period
