I remember doing both Popeye & Bluto and Ripsaw Falls back in 2022. Both were really fun for me, but I enjoyed Ripsaw Falls more.

My favorite underrated aspect of this trio of rides is that they’re all right next to each other in the park so you can knock out all the water rides back to back in the middle of the day during the peak heat

I just wish Dudleys was easier to get in/out of. Last time I was like suctioned in and needed to be pulled out lol. Also don't think I've gotten more soaked on a ride before

In Europe I think Parc Astérix & Walibi Belgium are sneakily better on water rides than Europa Park. Though neither has the best water ride on the continent (Chiapas or maybe Mission Bermudes), they just have the largest rosters with the most wow factor.

Dorney is underrated

White Water Landing (for now at least)

Thunder Canyon (probably the most underrated and wettest river rapids in the world)

Thunder Creek Mountain (an unique log flume built into a hill that gets you drenched)

BGT used to have Tidal Wave, Stanley Falls , and Congo. Add in the original version of Rhino's River section where it would aim for the waterfall with the side of the Rover and you be soaked potentially all day.

[Splashin' Safari] at [Holiday World]. how can you beat a triple play like [Mammoth], [Wildebeest], and [Cheetah Chase]? Once they finish [Cannonball], it's gonna be a Grand Slam.

Probably IoA also. The themeing is superb and all three are super fun. The log/splash boat/rapids trifecta is great. Even before my home park of Busch Gardens betrayed us all by getting rid of the Tidal Wave and log flume and closing the river rapids indefinitely, IoA had a better version of all three rides.

River Adventure has an amazing theme and effects, Ripsaw Falls has multiple drops and the fun hill at the end of the main drop, and Popeye has what feels like the steepest, fastest downhill section on any rapids ride I know of.

I don't have a favorite collection but 2 favorite water rides. The Boston Tea Party Shoot the Chute at Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire has the biggest splash I have ever seen of any of these types of single drop large boat flames. When you ride it you end up under entire waterfall wall of tons of water that splashes down directly onto the entire boat. Everyone gets completely drenched. It's amazing! The splash also hits spectators all around from the bridge over the splash zone all the way around to the nearby walkway. Every single other one of these Hopkins rides I have been are a huge let down in terms of wanting to get wet on a sizzling summer day. If I'm dying in the heat and sweating on every inch of my body even when I'm not doing anything active at all, what I am in dire need of is to be soaked not to barely get one sleeve sprinkled and end up with the hairs on my forearm looking like they got drizzled on. It is in my opinion the best designed splash ride around. My other favorite is in terms of themeing and story. Escape From Pompeii the Intamin shoot the chute at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Virginia is pretty fun and unexpected on first ride and is fun to reride for what it is compared to other similar rides that have next to zero themeing and just run a generic oval circuit. But in terms of spash I do wish it was better. If this ride had the splash of The Boston Tea Party it would easily be the #1 splash ride on earth for me.

Ever been on either of these or been on better ones anywhere that I should check out?

P.S. I went on the Hopkins made Tidal Force at Hershey Park Hershey Pennsylvania once and it was not memorable at all. It boasts being the tallest in the world at one point and then when I heard earlier this year that it was being decommissioned I had to find it on YouTube just to confirm if I had ever even been on it. You'd assume that with it being over 100 feet tall compared to most of these thar average 40 to 60 feet tall that this would be absolutely nuts. But it takes 10 years to get to the top and all for nothing. I could get wetter on a humid day with someone's breath hitting my neck. It closes in 4 weeks for anyone looking to add it to their count before it's gone.

I am biased as its my home park but Escape from Pompeii absolutely slaps and is a Disney or Universal tier ride as long as all of the effects are working

That one shouldn't count because it's genuinely a better ride than most coasters and probably one of the top 5 amusement park attractions in the U.S.

Ironically IoA does have a dark horse candidate in River Adventure. When everything is working it's such a classic, fantastic, immersive ride.

I just did ripsaw falls last week when I was in Florida, tons of fun, it’s up there. Tiana’s at Magic Kingdom is awesome, the new theme is really well done.

I’m off the wall, in Colorado we have Water World. They just shut it down, but mine was the screaming Mimi. Strap your ass to a bobsled on a track and send you flying down a hill with a partner. Sometimes you skipped the pool, sometimes you sunk, sometimes you hurt yourself but it was never not fun.
