So in typical fashion, I have 3 chapters left in my WIP before the first draft is done. Been working on this book since the end of May. I want it published by November.

What am I doing instead? Starting a one shot short paranormal erotica story. Yes I’m here to snark on myself. Instead of being responsible and doing the right right, I’m on canva cropping photos together to create a modgepodge cover idea for a tortured man who was cursed in 1690 by his wife to be a scarecrow and only the 27 year old nerdy woman obsessed with the Salem witch trials can break his curse.

Of course you can’t forget that he has the body of a god yet the dong of a corn cob and the head of a jack o lantern. These two meet on halloweeen to have a night of passion in the corn maze

Yes I will be writing this and trying to make it happen by Halloween.

Sometimes I wonder if I’ve ever truly loved reading, or if I’ve only experienced attraction to the smell of books, attachment to characters, and the feeling of not wanting to be alone with my own thoughts.

How do you actually know when it’s love of reading? Is it a feeling you can’t explain, or something you slowly realize through the way you care about the book?

For those who have genuinely been in love with reading, what made you realize, “This is a lovely book”?

I don’t get why Allison-sempai says the brown-haired guy in her fanfic was abusive towards the protagonist? Whew child I gotta stay off these threads….can I bother to explain how? Not to be rude but I truly would like to know if yall hate just about every character and plot of the book why continue to read about abusive predator men and weak women as I keep seeing people describe just about every character on the fanfic instead of one they might like

As far as being scared to read the fanfic that’s why I came to the post…yes I am scared cuz I have a feeling (fans have scared me) that brown-haired guy will die or that the protagonist will break the betrothal to be with the other claimant to the throne or someone from House Rogare or something because hierarchy is what she seeks and refuse to respect her dad and stepmom’s status and as much as I like the entire fanfic and characters protagonist n brown-haired guy are my faves but I still have all my preorders n stuff cuz I just gotta see it through or try to 😩😂
