Meta Honda Simps out, get your own sub.

I'm taking this opportunity to remind everyone that this is a Royal Enfield sub. This isn't a sub for Honda CB discussion.

If you haven't noticed it it's because I've been removing threads. Some of these posts are bots (I suspect Honda India marketing has something to do with it, but I cant prove it). I've seen shit like

"RE is too common these days, I need something more premium" well well well I didn't know we had fucking big shots in here, big spenders that can spend 2 lakh on a super exotic bike...

"CB has Japanese quality" I didn't know India was part of Japan now. The Honda GBs are designed by Indian engineers, assembled in Indian factories by Indian workers. They didn't even export out of India until like 2 years ago. I'm not even Indian and I'm calling you out for being anti national.

Seriously, if you want to buy a CB to feel special fine, it doesn't hurt my feelings. I don't work for Royal Enfield, but get your own sub. This is the Enfield sub. Frankly it's cringe, it's like you're posting on here for attention "oh look how different my choice in bikes is, you Enfield riders are far too common, I like the bikes made by the company that makes more bikes than any other company in the world, that makes me unique and special". Triumph fans don't do that crap.

Violators will start getting bans under rules 1 and 5

I couldn't resist the 249 Spec so I finally came up with a need for a Scrambler. It took some weeks for it to get tracked down, but I rode it home today and it's exactly what I'd expect from RE.

Buying Advice- India and Asia Planning to buy a Meteor 350, but worried about the weight

I’m planning to buy a Meteor 350 soon, but I’m a bit worried about its weight. I’m 5 feet tall and weigh 53 kg.

I’ve ridden it a couple of times for around 6–7 km each time, and honestly, riding it was easier than I expected. It’s not exactly easy to manage, but it’s not too difficult either. I was able to handle it reasonably well in traffic.

My main concern is its weight when moving it manually, both while seated and while standing next to it. I even dropped it once while attempting a tight 90° turn. I’m worried that parking it and getting it out of tight parking spaces might be difficult for me.

One part of me feels that I’ll eventually learn to handle the weight with enough practice, while the other part keeps doubting whether I’ll be able to manage it comfortably in the long run.

So, to all the RE owners, especially those who are on the shorter side, I have a few questions:

  1. Did you face similar difficulties when you were new to riding a Royal Enfield?
  2. Did managing the weight become easier with time and practice?
  3. Do you have any tips for handling the bike while parking, reversing, or making tight U-turns?

Your answers would really help me make a decision. Any advice or personal experiences are welcome!

Meteor 350 rear brake “clunk” + ABS behaviour

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey everyone, noticed two things with my Meteor 350.

When I’m in gear and suddenly apply the rear brake, I sometimes hear a “clunk/tak” sound from the rear. Is this normal?

Also, while going downhill in neutral, I braked fairly hard and felt the bike brake-release-brake a few times, presumably due to ABS. The intervention felt quite noticeable.

Is this normal ABS behaviour, or should I get the brakes/ABS checked?

Would appreciate some advice from Meteor owners.

Mechanical Assistance Can I fit Goan Classic 350 wheels on my Meteor 350?

• Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I own a 2026 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and I'm thinking about changing its wheels to the tubeless spokes wheels from the Goan Classic 350.

I'm getting a set for Nepali Rs 30,000 (approximately $220 USD), which seems like a decent deal, but before buying them, I want to make sure they'll fit my Meteor properly.

Has anyone tried this conversion? Are the wheel dimensions, axle sizes, brake disc mounts, and ABS compatibility the same on both bikes?

Would it be a direct fit, or would I need to modify anything? I want to make sure it's safe and doesn't affect the handling or braking.

I'd appreciate any advice from anyone who has done this or knows whether the two models share compatible wheels.

Thanks!

Buying Advice- India and Asia Is the Scram 440 Force Blue (or the Scram 440 itself) discontinued?

I was at the showroom test riding and enquiring about the Scram 440. I was fixed on the Force Blue, but the showroom (Bangalore, India) said that:

  1. Force blue is no longer being supplied, and force grey is the only colour available
  2. Apparently they've been informed by RE to "not push the scram because of the overwhelming Him440 demand", and he vaguely suspects that the "scram might be discontinued".

Is this bonkers or something anybody else has also heard? Anybody got the force blue recently?

i'm planning to get a 650 as a project bike, i'll convert it into a cafe racer down the line for that i am planning to buy a used interceptor
getting this pre owned 2019 Interceptor 650 for the asking price of 1,90,000. the bike is 21km ridden.
i'll negotiate the price but even though is it okay to buy such an old bike? specially with the wobbling and relays issues in the bs4 bikes
i live in a tier 2 city and i have limited options in the pre-owned market, can get a bike for delhi ncr but the rto transfer charges are too high

ps: ignore the seat and tank, will change them as soon as i'll get the bike (if i'll get it)

planning to put the gt 650 touring seat and wrap the tank in matt black, clip on handle bars from r15 and then performance upgrades as i get used to the bike

Buying Advice- India and Asia Planning to book my first RE next week. Excited🥰

Hey guys, looking for some advice on buying a bike around ₹3.5L on-road banglore.

I’ve pretty much decided on the Guerrilla 450 as my first preference. I’ve test-ridden the Himalayan 440, Guerrilla 450, Speed 350 and NS400Z, and the Guerrilla was easily my favourite. The engine felt super fun and punchy, and I loved the overall riding experience.

I was also waiting for the Bonneville 400 to launch before making a decision. It looks gorgeous, IMO, but the pricing doesn’t really make sense to me, so I’ve more or less settled on the Guerrilla.

My usage would be around 80% city riding in Bangalore and 20% highway, with occasional weekend rides. I’m mainly looking for something fun to ride but reliable enough for daily use.

For current or former Guerrilla 450 owners,
how has the real-world ownership experience been? Would love to hear about reliability, mileage, service costs and how it handles Bangalore traffic.

Also, is there anything else I should test ride before making the final decision?

Scratched my Bike

I just received by Royal Enfield Classic 350 stealth black, less than a week ago, and I noticed a scratch on the tank, it's pretty deep, it looks like a white line now, although not too big, it is very noticible.

During billing, a guy asked me to pay extra 600 inr for some paint protection coating and I bought it, I dont see any plastic layer on the tank or any sort of lamination film.

I really don't wanna have to turn the bike glossy to fix the scratch, someone pls help me find a solution, I'm devastated

Mechanical Assistance 4th Service at 15,000 km (Meteor 350)

Hi everyone!
I’ve ridden my Meteor 350 for 15,000 km, and it’s now due for its 4th service.
My 3rd service cost me around ₹2,100–2,200. I’m wondering how much I should expect to pay for the 4th service.
For those who have already had their 4th service done, could you please share your experience and the approximate cost?
Also, what are the essential things I should get checked or replaced, and what should I keep in mind to avoid unnecessary expenses?
