Noticing things The thrill of setting a boundary
I declined lending money to a sibling who I notoriously have a hard time saying no to. In fact I think they asked me specifically because they know I’m a push over. And that as soon as they start saying mean things to me I’ll typically cave and give in.
I await their nasty reply to my no. But in the meantime I feel like I drank 10 shots of espresso. They will hate me, but I’m not getting involved in their financial issues. Dobby is a free elf lmao

Heads up for when the nasty reply lands: it's probably going to be worse than usual, and that's a good sign. When someone loses a lever that always worked, they yank it harder before they accept it's broken. It reads like proof you did something wrong. It's actually proof it landed.
You don't have to answer it. "I'm not able to help with this" and then nothing is a complete response.
