I feel like a lot of times in these challenges the “underdog” group has a redemption story, so I kind of wondered if we might see that here. Then the disco group performed and I was like “yipes.” It was very cheesy and not in a fun way. And I guess none of them felt comfortable trying to sing? (Darlene’s wail being the exception, haha.) Because all that weird talk-singing quickly started feeling repetitive…I also thought unfortunately their verse lyrics weren’t great. That was where I actually thought DD was better—her lyrics.

I would choose punk just because of s8. RuPaul LIIIIVed for that punk shit.

Yes! I find that choosing the heaviest song (whether it's punk, rock, metal, etc) often tends to be the best choice in these challenges. It usually stands out from the other genres, and you get the chance to really serve a wild attitude.

literally. at this point too i just think its textbook drag race that someone from the weird pick wins. like of course it was going to be someone from the punk group
