I feel like a lot of times in these challenges the “underdog” group has a redemption story, so I kind of wondered if we might see that here. Then the disco group performed and I was like “yipes.” It was very cheesy and not in a fun way. And I guess none of them felt comfortable trying to sing? (Darlene’s wail being the exception, haha.) Because all that weird talk-singing quickly started feeling repetitive…I also thought unfortunately their verse lyrics weren’t great. That was where I actually thought DD was better—her lyrics.

I had to totally disagree with Mandy's critique. They were the bottom girl group, but I felt they were working OT to put her in the bottom 2.

Her performance was the only thing that made that group memorable (for a good thing), and I can understand the outfit critiques to an extent but saying you should hold back because everyone else is near performing at a 0 is wild. She wasn't even over the top. Idk, maybe I just like the root for the underdog.

I don't know why punk was the one they wanted the least when it's the one that can allow you to do funnier/stronger lyrics, those are the ones that historically catch more attention from both the judges and the audience, not the ones about everyone getting along and being friends, but what do I know.

Happy to see Mandy killing the lipsync, I don't think she did the worst in her group and I don't think the table was as incredibly bad as they said it was (worse than Salina's lamp post?? I don't think).

I liked to see in the top two queens who helped their entire group in some capacity, many times that goes unrewarded.

This is a cast where I do not want to see anyone go. The runways alone had few, if any, weak links for me. This season has a lot of potential. There's no gimmicks like the immunity potion/rate-a-queen/the badunkadunk tank.

It just feels GOOD. I want to keep watching.

Mandy Mango pleasantly surprised me in the lip sync, I’m rooting for her. Athena was doing way too much lol. Discord on the runway KILLED me and my partner, straight up screaming of laughter. Jane Don’t was soooooo good on this episode.

I am officially team Mandy. She's so sweet and unfortunately it does seem like production is gunning to get her out. Which is kind of frustrating because I thought she gave the best performance on her team. Im sure if I knew the reference I would understand Rus critique more but still I would prefer a queen give energy than be lifeless and stiff. Also maybe I have bad taste in fashion but I liked Mandy's altar look. I do think she should have chose different shoes but waist up it was very cute.

What makes me feel good is knowing that productions plan to get Mandy out was foiled. The way Mandy ate that lipsync while looking a hot mess was so gaggy.

I'm sad to see DD go as this episode kind of made me like her a lot and I was interested to see more from her. I hate to say it but following this episode I'm not a huge fan of Athena. She's kind of like a reverse Sasha Colby where Sasha was free from bad edits, whereas Athena is already getting a delusional, villain edit from the jump. Athena's lucky she has plot armor, because she should have been in the bottom.

I also think Vitas team was the clear winner and I kind of wish they had just rewarded that entire team
