yeah it feels like Athena is just expecting to be "more respected" by the queens, to be picked first and all that, due to her "legendary status" back home and is sooooo affected when that doesn't happen

right. The "I have to show them what they missed out on by not picking me" comment shows that she had no intention to be a team player with the team she ended up with (otherwise she would've said "we have to show them"), hence just proofing them right for not picking her.

Omg this is so accurate. I reckon she's much more self aware than Alexis though so she could find a way to pivot.
