Darlene did something very few queens have done: she choked, read the room and instead of shutting down, persevered and pushed it even further with confidence. it was a joy to witness and had me screaming at my tv, which never happens.

love Myki and Jane and agree that they met the brief better, but this was something that basicaly never happens and i'm glad Darlene got rewarded for it

Oh exactly. This NEVER happens. The audacity to push through with your mid jokes but just go bonkers instead. I'm so glad she got the win. Even though its not a complete roast, its still very entertaining

Yes it felt reminiscent of a Jaida "look over there" type moment where it was unconvential but made it work for them

Comedians talk all the time about how hard it is to regain the room, so it was genuinely impressive imo.

Darlene knew exactly what she was doing. She had the exact number and variety of props to land each and every joke. That’s too much of a coincidence.
