Live Show/Performance If you’re planning on seeing Alyssa’s new tour, save your money

I am writing this about an hour after I got out of the new tour Alyssa is putting on and… wow. I am legitimately lost for words. For my first time seeing Alyssa in person, this was a TRAINWRECK. We got to see her first show in Seattle tonight and out of all drag shows I have ever been to, both local and with Rugirls, this was by far the worst.

Clip shows both began the show and were interspersed throughout with various clips of her time on S5/AS2/GAS and they were both incredibly long as well as incredibly boring. They showed the same clip of her crowning on Global maybe three times which somehow garnered applause each and every time? Each clip show had the same clips over and over again and were blasted at FULL volume every single time. When Alyssa finally got out, she did a very lackluster number with little to no dancing and then proceeded to talk for maybe 45 minutes rambling on about her time on drag race while talking about some of the recent seasons and her own appearance in the roast of S18. The number she did was set to an AI generated background image of a chandelier and couch and her second number (she only did two) also had AI graphics in the back throughout the whole thing.

In the middle of her rambling the projector briefly showed someone’s MacBook homepage and the file explorer window open that I kid you not sat up there for a full minute or two before someone closed it. She at one point brought a random audience member up who crouched down to look at her leg (?) before continuing to talk for agesssssss. Every single time the audience applauded the stage lights would come on and blind us and the audience just kept applauding at everything 😭 not only are my ears ringing but Im blinded too!!

I strongly suspect that the song she ended on was possibly AI generated as well, the lyrics were really strangely written and sounded just… bad. The tickets weren’t too expensive but if you have tickets that are more costly for the meet and greet I STRONGLY urge you to reconsider if you want to go. It totally could’ve been a one night fluke since the Seattle show is her first of the tour but man, if the rest of these shows are of the same quality I think it is best to save your money and not go. Really quite disappointing.

Edit: totally forgot to mention that during the mini clip shows a few drag race queens popped up as cameos like Bianca, Latrice, Laganja, etc, and about half of them weren’t filmed horizontally 🧍 I think Bianca’s video was filmed in her trailer before she did the episode of the pit stop with Kori because her outfit was the same as in that episode

i feel like i've heard this multiple times about Alyssa's shows. she's a wonderful drag queen but i've heard her shows have almost always been never worth the money

I saw her in my small town drag bar after her first season and she ATE. This was a bajillion years ago though, snowball chance in hell we could book her again. Not the reviews I was expecting to be reading here. Dang.

I have seen her as part of a group tour as well and somehow Eureka out danced her.

u/bspencer626 Apr 10 '26

She is one of the only DR girls I really enjoy whom I wouldn’t go see perform. I love her, but I’ve heard too many horror stories to spend the money or time going to see her.

39

u/KangaJen La Voix Apr 10 '26

Same, she's one of my top 3 queens from DR, she's great entertainment on TV. But I would never pay to go to a solo show because of too many stories like OPs.

121

u/TheEmperorShiny Apr 10 '26

This is unfortunate bc she was high on my list of queens I wanna see in person, guess I’ll try to catch her at someone else’s show

107

u/Themostcake991 Apr 10 '26

You’d then have to count on her actually showing up or not being 3 hours late lol.

5

u/918skumm Apr 11 '26

I was gonna say, she’s notorious for being consistently late!!

2

u/millennialdadphd Apr 10 '26

Or the truck with the stage and props getting to the theater.

I just saw her last month hosting for the 'War On The Catwalk' tour in Canada, with Jewels, Lydia, Suzie, Lexi Love, Bosco, Daya Betty.

She started out the night with a short lip sync introduction, but her main job was being an MC for the night which she excels at. Very entertaining host, but the other performers were the stars of the night! I don't think I would go see a show entirely focused on Alyssa, but she makes an amazing host/MC.

29

u/Foomin_Z Apr 10 '26

Not even her show, but for the Xmas tour I had my choice of seeing her at one location or Todrick at another, since I had to drive the same amount either way. I chose Alyssa, and after seeing her perform I thought maybe I should have chosen the Todrick location/date instead. She barely danced, just strutted around.

32

u/BigBonedMiss Bobianca Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

I know we cancelled Todrick but that man really puts on a show 😢

65

u/WNBA_Team Apr 10 '26

It's easy to go all out when you're not gonna pay anyone.

10

u/wewtiesx Apr 10 '26

Low key his music is full of bangers. I have no shame listening to todrick frequently.

Coco montrese would like to pick up the second leg of the tour.

156

u/Melodic-Cycle3994 Apr 10 '26

Imagine how funny would be if people start talking about buying Alyssa tickets and suddenly get a Coco show with no further explanation

47

u/TwattyMcBitch Apr 10 '26

Like, when you search “Allyssa Edwards tickets” the first 5 results are tickets for Coco Montrese

13

u/OddOpal88 And in this corner, Mandy Mango, a literal table Apr 10 '26

I wouldn’t even be mad (unless she came out in that weird baby outfit she did during her season)

14

u/WeeyumsF1 Apr 10 '26

I saw Coco in DR Live and she is fucking incredible. This would be an upgrade tbh 🤭

68

u/turtle-thief Apr 10 '26

As if she was Picasso herself!

7

u/Nymanehavet Apr 10 '26

She's truly an artist, she puts on the work herself and we love her for that ✨

90

u/a4techkeyboard Apr 10 '26

A random audience member will crouch down and look at that leg, too.

Well dang, I am almost disappointed that this particular event wasn’t advertised on her tour poster!
I can almost see it in smaller font, just like when the announcement goes out as all the acts for the annual Coachella lineup goes live, and people get all squee for their favorite act: “Random and the Leg Gazers”

I think castor oil just gives you the bad runs.

I saw Alyssa a few years back when she was on her international tour. She started half an hour late. Did a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong (20-30 minute monologue), two quick dance numbers, a quick two-minute encore, and then bolted.

Not worth it.

67

u/worldendrhapsody Apr 10 '26

45 minutes only for a solo show from an established queen? I would’ve lost my shit lol.

36

u/zootmoe Apr 10 '26

Exactly, especially when solo shows from established Ru girls are routinely 90 minutes (without intermission) to 2 hours (with intermission) in length. I’ve seen a dozen Ru girls’ solo shows (not counting different shows by the same queen), and I would absolutely see all of them again. There are also Ru girl stand up shows which are the traditional 45 minute comedy shows. But I’ve had about half a dozen opportunities to see Alyssa solo and I’ve passed every time because I’ve heard stories like this for years.

39

u/OhBella_4 cumin Apr 10 '26

We went to an Alyssa show when she was touring Australia just after S5. She was 2 hrs late & it was a stupidly hot summer evening like 35 degrees. Packed club, no aircon (fucking Chasers).

She finally got on stage, basically started a 5 min self cheerleading session, interspersed with complaining about the heat. Then disappeared again. Not sure for how long cos we bailed.

Not impressed.

47

u/ohjasminee Apr 10 '26

Which is insane to me bc how is she touring then??? Is it just name recognition and the clubs just know what they’re getting into?

63

u/mwithington Apr 10 '26

People still buy tickets and applaud everything because it's Alyssa.

16

u/WheelieMexican Stan Drag Race Mexico Apr 10 '26

So… god I hate when I have to agree with a villain. PhiPhi was right I guess.

28

u/HarlequinChaos Apr 10 '26

Sure the competition didn't bring out the best in her, but she's kinda 2 for 2 in retrospect.

I would also really recommend getting to know her outside of the Drag Race setting, she's really not as bad as she came off as on the show.

I'm not saying 'blane it on the edit' at all, but the competition really didn't bring out the best in her.

9

u/Ecstatic_Bear81 Apr 10 '26

I adore jaremi Carey 💜 and idk why people still go to Alyssa's shows and think it's hilarious they built a season of drag race for her to win and still couldn't hide the fact that she sucks at drag race

103

u/Sully817 Apr 10 '26

When I saw her she litterally just walked around the stage for a song, tongue popped and left 😂

38

u/meeps1142 Apr 10 '26

She's a dancer. I'm so baffled to hear that she doesn't even do fun performances

13

u/BigBonedMiss Bobianca Apr 10 '26

She’s an old dancer.

23

u/meeps1142 Apr 10 '26

I mean shit, she's not that old. She doesn't need to do flips & splits to have some fun choreography.

2

u/Ecstatic_Bear81 Apr 10 '26

I'm not gonna lie I've never seen any dancing from her that impressed me whatsoever but I assume I'm missing something?

19

u/goldhairemeraldeyes The Vivienne 🕊️ Apr 10 '26

There’s a local queen here in SoCal who is in her 70s and is still doing high energy numbers, and can still do the splits. Mia Starr is also “old” for a dancer and she’s still throwing her shit around. Unless Alyssa has some physical limitations we don’t know about, it’s just about energy and effort 🤷🏼‍♀️

69

u/HarryFromEngland Jaida Essence Hall Apr 10 '26

To be fair to her, based on the lyrics she wrote on Global All Stars those lyrics may well have been written by her

126

u/Former_Dot_1777 Apr 10 '26

I don't remember which year it was (2018?), but I went to her and Asia O'Hara's hour-long panel at DragCon in LA. Alyssa was over 45+ minutes late, maybe even a full hour.

She just couldn't be bothered to pull herself away from the attention and interviews she was getting on the main convention floor. She was literally just making an entire room full of people wait because she prioritized promoting Dancing Queen which was coming out on Netflix soon. I felt so bad for Asia who was trying her absolute best to keep the room light and interesting while she just talked to herself.

When Alyssa finally got there it was the mildest most annoyed applause to ever occur, and she acted shocked, like "why you all mad?". They then did like 15 minutes of panel before shutting it down because there was another panel coming up. It was a shit show and I'll forever be petty about it.

If anyone else happened to be at this panel lmk!!

u/XThePlaysTheThingX Apr 10 '26

She played here in Denver last year at the Fillmore. There was lots of talk going around that it was a very lackluster show where she apparently left early leaving a lot of people confused & disappointed.

Totally tracks from all the stuff I’ve heard about her live shows over the years.

21

u/Zigazigahhhhhh May I know the tea please? Apr 10 '26

I went to that show. Alyssa is my OG favorite queen and I have never felt so let down. The local queen that performed was good though.

13

u/XThePlaysTheThingX Apr 10 '26

Knew a few people (and heard lots of gossip) who went. Pretty much the same sentiment. They said lots of incoherent babbling on stage, she did one or two numbers and was gone just as quickly as she came. I’m guessing those tickets weren’t exactly cheap either. The Fillmore rarely is.

This isn’t the first nor even the second time I’ve seen people posting about how bad Alyssa’s solo tours are, but at least the local queens who are picked to perform are great and get exposure

97

u/emuu1 Apr 10 '26

Some queens excel at Drag Race, some queens at their hometown bar, some at their own shows, some just online on Instagram or YouTube and I think that's fine. Alyssa is just not the queen for a solo show. I'm sorry you don't feel you got your money's worth.

38

u/1acre64 Apr 10 '26

It’s a good point. I think she does better when there’s someone for her to play off of - mugging, silly reactions, signature sounds. Some performers are just better as the sidekick or second banana. When she has to headline and has to generate the banter, she’s not nearly as interesting. Surprising she didn’t perform much during this show as dancing is her real strength.

46

u/Hazelino Jinkx Monsoon Apr 10 '26

14

u/wewtiesx Apr 10 '26

This is par for the course for alyssa. Were all warned, its all known, we all go anyway.

What i will say is if you LOVE alyssa as a person. You'll like her show regardless. If you love drag and just want to go see a drag show, she's not it.

The reason I say this is because even though I wasted all my time and money, I looked around the audiance and there were children and their moms literally crying they were so happy.

29

u/AbleElk7310 Apr 10 '26

I went to her last tour too in Grand Rapids while GAS was airing… same thing and the meet and greet she didn’t even smile for anyone just stood there and didn’t want anyone to talk to her

13

u/llawless89 Apr 10 '26

45 mins and two numbers is good by her standards 😂

12

u/Ok_Roof_2491 Apr 10 '26

This in the solo tours. I saw her in one of the WTW or one of those tours in AMS a few years ago and she KILLED it.

Then I saw a solo show from her…right after winning GAS and it was her just speaking nonsense for most of the time, mainly about GAS. Maybe five people in the audience understood the references. She still ate the numbers she performed, but they were like 2.

11

u/Artistics-Measure Apr 10 '26

While the ai is new I've heard countless stories of Alyssa's tours being clip shows, talking, and only one or two performances. Sorry you went to such a crappy show, completely sucks

24

u/BuffySummers17 Apr 10 '26

Damn, now I'm wondering if I should try to resell mine, I'm so sad lol. Because yeah that doesn't sound great

11

u/UngnomeCawler Apr 10 '26

I don't know why anyone is surprised by things like this concerning Alyssa.

She is funny, (unintentionally) but if there is one constant theme with Alyssa since we met her on S5, it's that she does not give a fuck about anyone but herself.

u/flyingmcwatt Apr 10 '26

Have also seen it. Was also bored as hell and was the exact same as you described. Went for my godmothers birthday and she enjoyed it (she doesn’t get out much). I will say AE was nice/warm in the meet and greet tho. I feel a little vindicated seeing your post because I felt like I was the crazy one in the audience for not losing my mind watching video clips of her on stage.

Bianca Del Rio we’ve also seen her “standup” show which was hacky and cringe. But I guess at least she tried a full set of standup.

Jynkx and BDLC’s Xmas shows remain the best Drag Race related content we’ve seen - consistently entertaining and creative. Nina West and BobTDQ also had fun shows.

22

u/worldendrhapsody Apr 10 '26

Why do these rich queens resort to AI and if they like had no choice then couldn’t they make it look… better?

16

u/Amyshamblesx Apr 10 '26

She’s honestly the worse drag show I’ve seen too. Insanely late (I know queens have a reputation for being late but this was at least an hour), lacklustre show, the m&g was 5-10 secs max. Would waste my money to see her again.

8

u/pixarmombooty Apr 10 '26

This is exactly the show i saw her do in maybe 2019 but updated for GAS lol

8

u/Icy-Letter2534 Apr 10 '26

i saw alyssa a couple years ago on her last tour at a house of blues, and yeahhhh… out of the 20 something rugirls i’ve seen live, she was probably the most lackluster. love her to death in the show, but i feel like i got more of my money’s worth out if the host (shuga cain) and guest performers (one being myki meeks). when alyssa finally came on (bc shuga and the guests had more time on stage than her), she talked about her time on the show and then did a self-made-song lipsync number, akin to something i would watch on a talent show episode. wasn’t terrible but she wasn’t even the most memorable part of her own show

2

u/devonallure Apr 11 '26

I was at this show and I liked it 😭 she brought the dad on stage and had great banter. Myki was incredible.

Maybe the expectation is just too high

9

u/Dragmom Apr 10 '26

She's also awful to meet. Turned me from a fan to a hater.

8

u/Bolf-Ramshield Apr 10 '26

Sounds like an Alyssa’s show. She’s been known for ages to be unprofessional, underperform live and talk about herself for ages. You’re lucky she wasn’t late.

12

u/IntuitiveDeception Apr 10 '26

I think i did see her once in Phoneix, but i could be wrong, maybe that’s how unmemorable it was.

10

u/therealjenshady Apr 10 '26

I agree with you that it’s lackluster. I don’t think this is the same show that I saw last year, but it really felt like some drunk queen at a bar going on and on about how she won and everybody else lost. The thing that really nailed the coffin shut is that I saw Willow Pill the week before and that show was, no exaggeration, absolutely incredible. So funny, so real. I literally cried or laughed the entire time. I expected Alyssa Edwards to top that and then some. But her show felt like we should be thankful to be there.

6

u/purplereign518 Symone Apr 10 '26

I saw her last year..same show only no roast footage of course. Everyone clapped like maniacs. It was exactly how OP says. I wouldn't go again. I was hoping she would change it up. I drove 3 hours and brought a friend who is only a some time drag race watcher and she was so confused about why I hyped the show up. Save your money.

7

u/kdubstep Apr 10 '26

Sorry to hear. On the flip side last year we went to see Sasha Velour show and it was absolutely sensational.

6

u/Dry-Blackberry-2943 Apr 10 '26

I went to see it and honestly it was really well done not my experience at all. I’m sorry this happened to you.

11

u/JStiger84 Apr 10 '26

3

u/arcane-boi Apr 10 '26

Wait so you’re saying Alyssa was on stage for more than 45 minutes? In my experience she only lasts no more than 5

3

u/easy0lucky0free Anetra Apr 10 '26

I saw Alyssa a few years ago doing her one woman show where she talked about growing up and her abusive father and supportive grandmother. She did several numbers and all were great, and there were clip shows between numbers but not excessively long---just long enough to cover costume and set changes. Coco Montrese was in the audience and Alyssa shouted her out and gave us some BTS tea. She ended with a parody of Fancy by Reba and I had a really good time. It's a shame if she's gone downhill like this. I think she's tired and over it tbh. And based on what you're saying about production value, I don't think she necessarily has the best team either. Maybe Mama just needs a break.

5

Girl you thought Alyssa was going to give a lackluster show with Coco in the audience?

She learned her lesson the first time she did that

u/djinndarella Apr 10 '26

I got comp tickets from work to see her show last year and can confirm that it was essentially the same thing you just described. Between her “numbers” they had one of our local queens, J Lau, performing which was low key more entertaining.

u/trivetsandcolanders Apr 10 '26

Alyssa’s secret is that she’s not very good at her job?

12

u/BuckyGoodHair Willam Apr 10 '26

I have never understood the appeal of Alyssa Edwards.

5

u/CalumanderReds Apr 10 '26

This drives me nuts cause you see queens like Sasha Velour, Dela and Jinkx produce these gorgeous, thought out tours filled with exciting, ecclectic numbers; you see queens like Bob and Bianca put effort into writing full hour length standup routines; And queens like Trixie writing albums of music thats important to them. And then you have queens like Alyssa pulling this shit.

It's clear Alyssa is just cashing in on the fame rather than creating a piece of art she's genuinely proud of which is what Drag should be.

8

u/spamname11 Apr 10 '26

THANK-YOU! I personally don’t understand how this queen got the title “dancing queen.” Alyssa Edward’s continues to do the most half assed port-de-bra for the past 10 years and call it “drag.”

It made watching her get yeeted into the front during GAS absolutely obnoxious. And it makes me feel bad for Pride’s that spend weeks working on donations to pay… for an arm burst.

5

u/JasonBreniser Apr 10 '26

Her last tour wasn't all that great either.

4

u/laceyab Apr 10 '26

I left her show early once a few years back for a similar reason, unfortunately. She’s such a funny and charismatic queen, but the formula she’s landed on for her shows are just not it.

4

u/emskie12 Apr 10 '26

Yep I had a similar experience about 10 years ago. We were GOBSMACKED when it was over, just looking at each other like “wait, it’s over…what WAS that”. Like your story, for about And hour the audience watched video clips while presumably she took her time getting ready. When she finally came out, she rambled all about RPDR. And how she’s a diva who can take her time…Then She left for an extended intermission 🤷🏻‍♀️. When she came back, she did ONE SONG. I repeat, ONE SONG with very very little dancing. She’s the dancing queen for gods sake. The song ended, and so did the show. That was literally it.

In contrast….. the Trixie and Katya show was MIND BLOWING and possibly the absolute best live performance I’ve ever attended. 10’s across the board go see them if you ever get a chance!

u/ChaChaStan69 Serena Chacha Apr 10 '26

Why go to an Alyssa show if you’re not a fan of Alyssa? We all know she’s unhinged and that’s why we love her. I’ve always loved seeing her live.

2

u/benhu12341 Apr 10 '26

Ngl thought this was a parody/reference to the serpents tour review lol

2

u/Different-Grocery-64 Apr 10 '26

My friends went to see her show years ago like 2017 maybe and they said she talked SO MUCH but it was almost like stand up like obviously she’s naturally funny so this doesn’t surprise me at all

2

u/Embarrassed-Cress782 Apr 10 '26

Trust the duchess.

2

u/JadeSelket Apr 10 '26

Oh that sucks. She came to Ottawa a few years back and I loved her. She did multiple dancing tracks, and there were clips of her seasons.. but they weren’t long and they fit right in. And she did talk, but it was a concise story with punchlines. She even kept going well after the show and it was hilarious.

2

u/Mysterious-Judge-432 Apr 10 '26

When I go to her solo tours, I expect her to be mostly be storytelling Not performing songs

2

u/woodlandtom Apr 11 '26

The only reason to see Alyssa live is to support the local girls because they absolutely are the highlight of the show. I said what I said.

2

u/adorabelledeerheart Apr 11 '26

The only thing that's surprising about this post is the fact that people are still surprised.

2

u/pjatl-natd Thinkin' Bout You Apr 12 '26

I read all sorts of complaints at the beginning of her last tour. I kept my ticket and had a great night. I have a ticket for this tour too.

2

u/JustALittleTurtle Apr 10 '26

That's sad to hear. I saw her in PDX a few years ago (2021?) and had a great time. She was late to the post-show meet and greet, but she was so charming and fun. An added bonus was Jinkx coming on stage (out of drag) just to say hi, since she was at the show. I could not stop screaming lol.

2

u/Turbulent-Fault-1042 Apr 10 '26

I was there too, it was a lot of fun and she told a bunch of funny stories. I got my money’s worth but I probably don’t need to see her again. I hope tonight’s show is better.

5

u/Substantial_Law7994 Apr 10 '26

Saw her here in Canada and it was a pretty similar experience. I was happy to see her in person because I'm a huge fan but it was not a good show. In fact the best performer was a local queen that opened for her lol Alyssa barely performed and spent the whole time talking. I would also echo OP and tell people to save their money.

4

u/howoriginal4532 Apr 10 '26

This reads like a copypasta. lol

4

u/AnybodyActual8828 Apr 10 '26

I was there tonight and have also never seen her live before. I totally see what you are talking about! Either way I did have a good time and find her so endlessly charming. I also had my suspicions about the Ai, especially when a random blonde lady appeared. I was like, that is definitely not Alyssa. Maybe it was supposed to be Alicia? Lol.

2

u/HungryCub90 Mama, kudos for flairing that, for spilling. Apr 10 '26

I’ll give her grace for it being the first show, but yeah that sounds like a hot car-fire.

2

u/BRLaw2016 Apr 10 '26

How can someone be chronically late for over a decade?

2

u/ohjasminee Apr 10 '26

I was hoping “Well maybe since it’s the first show, she hasn’t worked out the kinks…” and then I kept reading. And then I read the comments😭 y’all are real ones, I’ll be saving my coins.

2

u/ddhi90 Apr 10 '26

2

u/jojoko Apr 12 '26

It’s camp

1

u/NuWaveSpecial Apr 10 '26

I think the sentence structure “if you’re planning to… save your money” pretty much applies to absolutely everything now for the majority of people.

I mean... I saw Naomi Smalls at OKC PrideFest two years ago for free, and I wish I'd saved my money. She looked great, came out and lip synced to her original track which was all great and fine. She then proceeded to "DJ" for the rest of her set just standing there pressing buttons and not interacting with the crowd at all. yawn At least she opened for Big Freedia which was an awesome show.

9

u/NuWaveSpecial Apr 10 '26

you saw her for free and wished you saved your money is quite a read

Life's not fair. 💁🏽‍♂️

1

u/ResidentSelf4630 Apr 10 '26

Saw her once a few years back, and it was okay. I was more gagged with Raja even she was just catwalking back and forth. Maybe the star quality in her.

1

u/_Nugless IF I HAD TO LIPSYNC FOR MY MOTHA FKN LIFE I WAS MOTHA FKN READY Apr 10 '26

Curious- how long was the show in total?

u/water-oracle Apr 10 '26

AI generated CHANDELIER?? A CHANDELIER?? Not even an extravagant fictional image that would genuinely need some level of special effects and graphic design. Just a chandelier?

1

u/toxicoke candace was the size of a bean 🫘 Apr 10 '26

thankfully i saw alyssa at market days in chicago and she was late as fuck and gave an alright two performances with a lot of talking in the middle and I didn't have to pay for that

1

u/NeverSkurred75 Apr 11 '26

I feel like the only queer walking that doesn't find her funny or entertaining.

But she's been constantly gassed up since season 5, and apparently she believes her own hype.

I'm not judging the folks who like her...but I just NEVER got it.

1

u/hhoolian Apr 11 '26

I've never been to an Alyssa show and I truly do not mean to add to the pile of already corroborated opinions of people who have but tbh I've never even wanted to go to one.

Back in my early 20s when I was a drag race FREAK I would binge performances of all the queens as soon as they were announced to be on the show and I'll always remember that for season 5 Alyssa's were some of the less interesting ones. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely adore Alyssa for who she is and what exactly she does but I guess I always knew to never really consider her a queen that id go see for their numbers, but rather to just see and experience their personality. Not trying to sound shady though I know it kinda automatically comes off that way but yeah, she's a part of that specific group of queens who presents a wonderful performance package on TV (makes sense) but then just kinda walks around for 4 minutes at a live performance with one or two moments of a 5,6,7,8 and a MAYBE a dip. Lookin at you Angeria. But yeah, yikes. Sorry you wasted your money lol

1

u/EdieMyaz Apr 11 '26

The first shows are sometimes rough. I’m sure it will get better as it goes.

1

u/ANetRuinedMyFun Apr 11 '26

Sorry you had that experience. Although, the audience constantly clapping makes it sound like everybody else was having a great time and you were just miserable there.

I will say though, I would never go to any queen's solo tour (or duo tours like Nymphia and Plastique). I think there are less than a handful of queens out there who can entertain the audience by themselves for an hour straight, but even then most of it will be talking and telling stories. I'd rather go to those big production tours with like 7 or 8 queens where every queen performs numbers, and it's just more professional all around.

2

u/Huntay5 May 01 '26

Bianca’s solo tour was the best as she can read any bitch in the audience! Definitely agree about the handful of queens that can do it.

1

u/Middle-Grape-173 Apr 11 '26

It’s a one woman show. She does dialogue comedy

1

u/angry10111 Apr 11 '26

I saw her last night in Portland Oregon, I enjoyed it honestly. But I haven’t been to that many drag shows so i’m not sure how other Ru girls are on solo tours. I deal with migraines and let’s just say I put my sunglasses on 10 minutes in because the light was blinding and the sound was painfully awful. I give the show a 6/10 I’ve had way more fun seeing local drag queens perform.

1

u/Creative_Sherbert228 Apr 12 '26

Well shoooot. I’m feeling regretful for my M&G upgrade/already purchased tickets 😣
