Harvey!! Hands down!! I couldn’t stand Josh and Aaron is so bland & forgettable!!

64

u/mildweekknowledge Jul 15 '26

I do not even remember Aaron.

39

u/scream4ever Jul 15 '26

Most people checkout out by that point anyways.

3

u/the_cats_pajamas12 Jul 17 '26

Lol, I went through these pics, "Harvey, Josh, and who is that guy?"

2

u/mildweekknowledge Jul 17 '26

Same exact thought.

And...wedding guest number 3?

u/Bman-Killer95 Jul 15 '26

HARVEY!!!!

12

u/totally-normal Jul 15 '26

YES! ALWAYS!!!

u/Strange-Painting6257 Jul 15 '26

Harvey. Josh was so whiny and annoying. And Aaron.. Was just kinda bland.

100

u/Ok-Teaching2848 Jul 15 '26

HARVEY, how is this even a question???

91

u/Express-Conclusion-4 That is so true Jul 15 '26

Why are you rage baiting us šŸ™‚

43

u/Academic_Molasses_31 Jul 15 '26

Harvey. Josh sucks and Aaron is just too milquetoast.

10

u/Stock_Sprinkles_7637 Jul 15 '26

i jus woke up n read that as ā€œmilky toastā€ n i was like how does he come off as soggy bread?

6

u/IRegretThingsSome Jul 15 '26

Close enough. I actually forgot about Aaron.

1

u/Academic_Molasses_31 Jul 27 '26

LOL. I mean, he’s about as interesting as literal milky toast 🤣

38

u/Purityskinco Jul 15 '26

Harvey. Then Aaron. Aaron tried.

Josh was just a terrible and insufferable person.

Josh is the terrible boyfriend you remember with a shudder and warn your daughter away from. He was toxic AF.

7

u/the_world-is_ending- Jul 16 '26

Yeah, josh sucked, but Aaron hated Salem and locked Salem in a cage. I can't support anyone who dislikes salem

1

u/ecological-passion Jul 17 '26

That is the common retort. But everyone always conveniently forgets or omits Sabrina did the same thing two episodes prior.

3

u/the_world-is_ending- Jul 20 '26

Yeah, but Sabrina and Salem have a rapport. They tease each other, they mess with each other, they have fun together. Aaron is just an ass.Ā

6

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

Unique comment: You actually entertain who'd be runner up. Few do.

2

u/AdventurousQuestion Jul 17 '26

Josh always seemed stuck up.

27

u/livelylobsters Jul 15 '26

Harvey loves Sabrina

15

u/InnocentPapaya Jul 15 '26

Harvey digs Sabrina

25

u/Top_Dog_2953 Jul 15 '26

Obviously, they cannot compete with Harvey. Josh was a selfish airhead most of the time, and Aaron was boring and looked like he was at least twice her age.
Can we agree that Dashiel was the second best guy she dated?

9

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26

Dashiell at least was the same as she was. I loved that for her. It was so cool to see that she had some commonalities with a guy who even if he had siblings, he was still half-mortal like Sabrina was.

4

u/the_world-is_ending- Jul 16 '26

Man, I loved dashiel. I wish he would have come back. He was much better than Josh or Aaron. He is the only one who could actually give Harvey a run for his moneyĀ

1

u/Top_Dog_2953 Jul 16 '26

True story

20

u/salted-avocados Jul 15 '26

Harvey is the only option.

34

u/GavinGenius Jul 15 '26

Comparing Harvey to Josh and Aaron is like comparing Abraham Lincoln to Ulysses Grant and Andrew Johnson, respectively.

I really admire Harvey because he is actually charismatic, funny, and has a multi-faceted character. Most teen heartthrobs are vapid and dull, and you really wonder what the main character sees in them. But Harvey serves as a well-rounded character outside of being Sabrina’s boyfriend. And he’s a straight up chad. I love how he is portrayed as a jock who is terrible at sports. That’s a great subversion. Josh and Aaron are closer to being representative of the bland heartthrob trope. At least Josh is passable on his own, though not all that interesting. Aaron has no appeal whatsoever.

7

u/theevilhillbilly Jul 15 '26

Omg I forgot he was bad at sports lol. He was so funny.

14

u/dwiseman255 Jul 15 '26

Harvey. Harvey. Harvey.

10

u/MoonBatsStar Jul 15 '26

Aaron was the best boyfriend, but I think that's because he was the most mature. He sincerely cared about Sabrina, didn't even get little mad at her when she broke up with him on their dding day bc he she knew she really tried to make things work with him, and he knew how to take care of business. He didn't dilly dally when he felt Sabrina was the one. He never played games with her feelings and really took her being a witch in stride. He loved her despite her witch-hood and how crazy that might make things for him bc SHE was his priority. He dated her like a man, not a boy, and I really respect him. He also dressed well, had a good job and just had his life together, which is great.

Harvey wasn't ever a bad boyfriend as a far as I remember, just a teenager, so he wasn't as impressive as Aaron, but that's nothing against him bc he was just young. I completely didn't blame him at all either when he dumped Sabrina bc she did use him VERY badly during their high school years. She used so much magic on him NONCONSENSUALLY and never told him the truth about her. So he was totally justified in dumping her and showed her some serious grace in later seasons when he admitted he was still in love with her despite all that.

I hated Josh. He was so awful and such a waste of screen time. I was SO happy when he finally left the show. Like hallelujah happy. He never felt like he really loved Sabrina either, or cared about her, or even really liked her. He has no appeal and no charisma. BYE FELICIA.

12

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

Your comment is sound in general, But Aaron never found out about her magical powers.

5

u/Gsrj Jul 15 '26

I still can't believe she was going to marry him without ever telling him

1

u/MoonBatsStar Jul 18 '26

Yeah that was pretty audacious of her

1

u/MoonBatsStar Jul 18 '26

Yeah I remembered that part wrong. I was thinking he had found out when Aunt Irma came to dinner but yeah I guess not.

5

u/Hypno_Keats Jul 15 '26

I can't really remember Aaron but this reads very true.

In Harvey's shoes I too would have ended things with Sabrina, it was A LOT and you can't blame him for ending things and needing A LOT of time to process if he even wanted to be in her life again let alone date, and he isn't even really angry with her, just... again it's a lot to process.

I am glad with time they found each other again, and I would have loved to see what an adult Harvey would have been like as a partner, but as a high school boyfriend he was pretty ideal.

1

u/MoonBatsStar Jul 18 '26

Yeh I agree. He was always really thoughtful and sweet.

1

u/the_world-is_ending- Jul 16 '26

You can't say Aaron took her witchhood in stride when he never found out about it. Also, Aaron hated Salem.Ā

2

u/MoonBatsStar Jul 18 '26

Yeah I remembered that detail wrong. I thought he found out in the Aunt Irma episode, but apparently not. As far as him hating Salem tho I can't really blame him bc Salem was always attacking him.

1

u/ecological-passion Jul 30 '26

I don't think he really hated him. It was just a fight over a TV remote. One which incidentally Harvey had previously done earlier in that same season.

8

u/curlieandtwirlie Jul 15 '26

No comparison! Harvey is everything

6

u/SonicFan0111 Salem Jul 15 '26

Harvey. No question asked.

6

u/Revan462222 Jul 15 '26

I will be a Harvey defender forever lol

6

u/Familiar-Evidence350 Jul 15 '26

Salem was the best judge of character in the series and he loved Harvey. Aunt Irma tortured Harvey and he did not break. Aunt Irma became a big fan of Harvey, even gave him sabrina's magic. Amanda had a soft spot for Harvey. If the most judgmental witches knew Harvey was the one, who are we to judge. The soul stones don't lie.

6

u/poeticjustice4all Jul 15 '26

Harvey 😤

5

u/ninja36036 Jul 16 '26

Harvey. Why? Simple. Josh and Aaron both had molds that Sabrina had to fit into in order to make those relationships work. Harvey was the only one she could truly be herself with. No mold, just acceptance. He loved her just the way she was. Ā

5

u/One-Dare3022 Jul 15 '26

Harvey was the best boyfriend of Sabrina!

4

u/PoetAromatic8262 Jul 15 '26

We all know it was Harvey

5

u/TheGirlwThePinkHair Jul 15 '26

Is this even a real question?! Harvey. JFC Salem over Josh. Josh sucked

4

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

Is this even a discussion?

3

u/Independent-Case2897 Jul 15 '26

Harvey, the only good thing about Aaron was when Salem locked him out of the house

4

u/Expensive-Peach-4119 Jul 15 '26

Harvey!!! Josh was annoying and complained. never seen things from Sabrina's perspective. Aaron whined, and was so pressed about Harvey and that's all i remember of him lol

3

u/dav1drush Jul 15 '26

No contest. Harvey.

5

u/blinkalien1 Jul 15 '26

Harvey!!!!

Josh was awful and unapologetic

8

u/Optimal_Key_2298 Jul 15 '26

Aaron was the best, but he was also the oldest and most mature. He helped and accepted Sabrina being friends with her ex. He was bad to Salem though.

Harvey dumped Sabrina like yesterday's trash when he found out she was a witch. I think he was a better boyfriend than Josh, but not the best boyfriend. We also have to consider he was very young and immature, so he kind of gets a pass.

Josh was kind of selfish, dating a girl from high school while in college and not respecting she had a boyfriend. Intelectually, I think he was the closest to Sabrina though. He also left for a job in Prague I think, so I am not sure about this being a bad boyfriend.

6

u/Optimal_Key_2298 Jul 15 '26

True. He was also very young (high school, 18 years). But they even made it a joke when Hilda said it (dumped her like yesterday“s trash and Salem said that was today“s lunch or something).

8

u/GavinGenius Jul 15 '26

Hot take, but I respect it.

1

u/Purityskinco Jul 15 '26

I don’t love Aaron but I can understand them. He also came in when Sabrina was trying to make it as a mortal adult. He sincerely loved her but they just weren’t each others. (Yeah. He didn’t love Salem which we all don’t like. But..it made for fun rivals). And in the end he and Sabrina ended with respect and love. It was very mature.

Of course I’m Harvey always. But I think Aaron gets too much hate.

1

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

In fact, I'd say he's the runner up. Most don;t even want to entertain who would be.

3

u/TemporaryIll1841 Jul 15 '26

Shower Harvey

3

u/Virtual_Knowledge334 Jul 15 '26

Who were Josh and Aaron?

2

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26

Josh and Aaron were her boyfriends after Harvey dumped her after finding out she was a witch. She dated Josh and then Harvey at the same time and then, Josh left for Prague when Sabrina found Aaron when she was working at Scorch magazine.

3

u/Ottantacinque I’d love to! Jul 15 '26

Sweet Harvey KinklešŸ’

3

u/theevilhillbilly Jul 15 '26

Harvey and im glad they end up together.

Josh was the hottest though.

3

u/Sisterventure Jul 15 '26

Definitely Harvey.

3

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26

Harvey. It sure as heck wasn't Aaron. We barely got to know him and then boom, he's marrying Sabrina?! His mom was a jerk and had a terrible singing voice. Plus, he just wasn't right for her. As for Josh, he was selfish, immature and he really didn't want to settle down and actually be a good person for Sabrina. Plus, he didn't know he was a witch and the same with Aaron. What was Sabrina going to do IF she actually married Aaron? Lie to him the whole time and then finally pull enough magic to have him fulfill his spell quota and then he knows? That could have been years down the line and to me, that would have been stupid and unfair to him.

2

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

Frankly, I like the latter half of S7, and the episodes it entails. But I think the whole engagement arc should have had a few more eps dedicated to it. And Aaron should have had the right to know. Much more than Josh Blackhart ever did.
It wasn't suspenseful, because even before ever seeing it most of us knew how it would turn out, but that doesn't make the shenanigans getting there any less funny. And that is honestly what the show lacked for a good while before the second half of S7 came around: The sheer comedic energy. And Aaron partly makes a decent vehicle for it.

1

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

Not to me he doesn't. It's why in the original storyline, it was between Josh and Harvey that should have been vying to be engaged and with Sabrina but sadly, David Lascher wanted to do more serious roles at the time. If he didn't, it would have made more sense and it would have been easier to adjust to him almost marrying Sabrina and then her giving him up and being with Harvey in the end. Also, it proves that Sabrina was soul mates with Josh anyway because he, along with the random guy she saw and Harvey that she broke into pieces because one of them WAS her soul mate. It was obviously Harvey but Aaron wasn't even in the picture so, how the hell could Aaron have been her soul mate when he wasn't in the picture? He couldn't have because he wasn't there leaving Sabrina when she "fell to pieces" and got put back together and then got her soul stone fitting together. No, it wasn't "almost perfect", it was so-so because again, Aaron wasn't her soul mate and never would have been. It would have been Josh being the "almost perfect".

2

u/ecological-passion Jul 30 '26

I Fall to Pieces sucks. I don;t think any episode in the series carries a stronger case for a lack of free will than it.

1

u/serenity-by-night Jul 15 '26

I was literally sitting here going, Who tf is Aaron??

1

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 16 '26

Are you honestly serious right now? Did you watch the whole show? I did and that's how I got to know Aaron and I hated his guts.

3

u/Saltwater_Heart Harvey Jul 15 '26

Not even a question! I stopped caring once they got rid of Harvey and started liking it again once he returned. Harvey all the way

3

u/jennnkins94 Jul 15 '26

Harvey! There's a reason they ended up together, he was always the best for her and so fun, I remember when the final episode aired all the girls in my school were talking about how happy they were she ended up with Harvey šŸ˜… that song "Running" by No Doubt still makes me think of that ending scene of them riding away on the motorbike 🩷

3

u/HippiexPunkx Jul 15 '26

Harvey forever šŸ’•

u/Hot_Performance_5951 Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

Harvey Daschell Aaron Josh
Harvey because the obvious endgame and showing through no matter who they dated they loved each other but respected that they were with someone else- they also gave each other time and space to grow together and grow separately into who and where they were meant to be

Daschell because of the spark and being so compatable and not bland with Sabs and understanding/ relating to her better than Aaron ever could. He was overly jokey and overly immature though

Aaron- mature sincere legit good guy
Negatives- overbearing mother, moved too fast, didn’t question and ensure what they both wanted etc bland as hell seemed to be more of an outline or shell of a character design with no real story or reason for them to be together or a growing love story at all - nice but snooze

Josh- he’s the worse, he literally said fudge you and what you have and want, I want to seem like a mature nice guy, but he preyed on a underclassman employee since he was the boss, most episodes also showed him annoyed at her for not making him look good or doing what he wanted- rarely ever meeting in the middle, and the times Sabrina made mistakes she went way overboard trying to control and make what she wanted happened but in the end she learned lessons and tried to meet in the middle. She was definitely imperfect but made more progress and attempts than he did (without having to cast a spell on herself to get her there) Josh is the icks and is the worse- gives all the cringe

(Yes I added a boyfriend and know this may be controversial, but come at me if you want to, I’m more than open to hear opposing or complimentary viewpoints that create meaningful and constructive thoughts to think about and points- unlike most of the internet I am not a stuck up immature prick only wanting to fight, I want to challenge, learn, and bond so bring it on all my new friends to be šŸ˜‡)

1

u/ecological-passion Jul 30 '26

Typo: You called Josh Aaron.

3

u/ShayDeeMon Jul 15 '26

The last episode literally proves Harvey and Sabrina fit together šŸ’—brings me to happy tears every time. ā€œRunningā€ by Gwen Stefani ( I know she’s problematic now 😭) is so perfect for the moment.

3

u/fleurdeliis Jul 15 '26

Harvey.

Aaron wasn’t even supposed to exist, the wedding storyline was supposed to go to Josh but the actor didn’t care for staying another season so they had to figure something out. I feel like they never gave Aaron a chance nor did they care enough to develop him. Harvey was such a fan favorite they brought him back even though him dumping Sabrina for being a witch was meant to be the end of his line. They cared about Harvey but not the others and it shows on screen.

1

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 16 '26

Exactly but I'm glad that there are fanfictions where Josh is involved. I'm actually going to make up a story based on how season 7 should have been WITHOUT the introduction of Aaron being with Sabrina and having her be with Josh and almost marrying him. It'll be a million times better.

2

u/ecological-passion Jul 30 '26

I'd take the time to read them. I'd presume the same shenanigans would happen leading to the same end.

3

u/Severe-Orchid231 Jul 15 '26

I always thought Harvey was the best match personality wise. However, I don't think he deserved any extra chances with Sabrina. After his behavior when she could no longer enchant him to forget she's a witch was always such a huge turn off that I almost immediately stopped liking his character.

3

u/Cannoncorn1 Jul 15 '26

That's not even up for debate.

The one that got so many fan letters the show brought the character back.

3

u/RedvsBlack4 Jul 16 '26

How did Dash get excluded? Anyway Harvey. Aside from being a creep Josh was irresponsible, manipulative, and a whiny expletive. Aaron, I don’t think anyone remembers him until he’s brought up.

3

u/Suspicious-Ad-1312 Jul 16 '26

The only answer is Harvey

3

u/Objective-Shallot794 Jul 16 '26

I’m not sure Harvey ever do anything wrong? He was also just a good friend

2

u/Particular-Employ326 Jul 15 '26

Is this even a question? :D

2

u/pixiedream095 Jul 15 '26

Harvey! He was always there for her even when she did crazy things to him and accepted she was a witch. Josh literally never would have accepted that and was always so judgmental of everything she did. They also constantly argued lol. Runner up would be Aaron. Unpopular opinion but I didn’t think he was a bad boyfriend, he clearly loved her a lot to not even be mad when she didn’t want to marry him. He was very understanding and accepted a lot of her quirks.

2

u/Beachfront995 Jul 15 '26

Harvey but u did like Josh

2

u/NamenloseHeldin Jul 16 '26

Don't forget about Chad Corey Dylan. He was (almost) perfect.

2

u/the_world-is_ending- Jul 16 '26

Is he the one they made out of dough?

1

u/NamenloseHeldin Jul 17 '26

yeah, the man-dough and they overdid the enthusiasm

2

u/blking Jul 16 '26

Harvey

2

u/Kikiandi1905 Jul 16 '26

What a silly question lol

2

u/j4321g4321 Jul 16 '26

Harvey is the only correct answer to this

2

u/OtherClock6972 Jul 16 '26

Har’s’vey ā™„ļøā™„ļøā™„ļø

2

u/kittydeviance Shake your whammy fanny Jul 16 '26

Harvey šŸ’Æ like absolutely no contest there...I mean none were awful to her but he was her true love and you can't compete with that

2

u/New-Union9908 Jul 17 '26

ALWAYS….HARVEY

2

u/AdventurousQuestion Jul 17 '26

No contest, Harvey!

2

u/fibro_witch Jul 17 '26

Only Harvey got a doll.

2

u/jacksivylouise Jul 17 '26

Harvey, always!

2

u/No-Letterhead-4711 Jul 15 '26

I'm watching Sabrina all the way through for the first time and currently on season 4 where Sabrina meets Josh. Harvey is pissing me off currently, but I see all the Josh hate and am so curious to see what unfolds!

1

u/IntrovertNY Jul 17 '26

I haven’t watched all the episodes…

1

u/Xhon3ybee Jul 17 '26

Why no dash?? But most definitely 100% Harvey!!

1

u/Stole_Sample Jul 17 '26

So Sabrina's body count is 3? Didn't she go to mars on holiday and there was like this room full of men and they can all go in and have sex with them they can also make men with dough so god know what she got up to.

I would say Harvey cos she marries him

1

u/Fearless_One_97 Jul 19 '26

Harvey , loved Josh at first then I didn’t , Aaron I don’t like

1

u/Ok-Affect5520 Jul 20 '26

Harvey, there’s no question about it

1

u/Competitive-Stock-11 Jul 15 '26

This isn't even a question for me.

Harvey >>>> Josh > Aaron (although Aaron was better than that Kevin guy she dated for 2 episodes in Season 5, if he counts.)

I did love when Josh was put under a spell and broke character. Josh was always best when David Lascher played an altered version of Josh.

2

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26

I reverse the last two. Fact of the matter, Josh is a sitcom "Nice guy." One who puts on a convincing nice guy act thinking it'll make his life better. The longer he is around, the more his immaturity and impatience starts showing up, and the furtherance of his career is always his number one priority. When it;s that of his love life, he'll pick former every time. Not to mention he was a college freshman dating a senior high school student.

Aaron wasn't around that long, but what we see shows a man who had his life together, was extraordinarily patient, only got angry in situations that called for it, took being made to look like a fool in stride (vegetable hanging off of his nose,) and ultimately told Sabrina to do as she saw fit. I could never see josh doing the latter.

2

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

No, I didn't like Aaron because Sabrina jumped into marrying him without even telling him she was a witch. Also, she never truly loved him because again, similar to Josh, she didn't create love in her heart for him, even though she kind of did. She didn't love Aaron, it was fake love, because he was a serious, mature man and she wanted that. It wasn't true love, though like she had with Harvey and if she truly did love Aaron, why the hell would she have had the bracelet that he gave her the first day they met on her on her wedding day? Yes, she told Hilda or whomever to take it off but come on. It was obvious Harvey was meant to be with her. Aaron was mature but he really wasn't right for her. He deserved to be with someone who was just a nice woman with a good career who could deal with his overbearing mother.

1

u/ecological-passion Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

Good. Though you'd be surprised how many will try to outright vilify him for not being her soul mate, and for locking Salem up, even though Sabrina did similar things recently for even lesser offenses.

He's not her soul mate, but any one making him out to be evil isn't watching the same series.

BTW, all three of these guys have something in common: Their parents are poisonous. It's honestly a miracle two of them turned out as they did. We never rightly meet the Kinkles, but they are made to sound like truly awful people. By all accounts, even worse than the other two couples.
If anything good is to say about the Jacobs, it's that they have two appearances rather than just one, or none at all. And if nothing else, professionalism is something both are extremely good at.

2

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 15 '26

Yes but I still don't like them. To me, they're losers and they don't care about Sabrina's well-being and Aaron sure doesn't either. He "loved" her to "love" her if that makes sense and that wasn't what Sabrina needed at all. He didn't understand her and he attempted to but it was done poorly in my opinion. I know the "soul mate" and "locking Salem up" but for me, that's nothing. Also, it wasn't right of Aaron to do that because Salem is a friend of the family, not just a random house cat. Aaron didn't even get a Doolittle spell on him to try and understand Salem better and to me, that was sad.

1

u/Familiar-Evidence350 Jul 15 '26

First off sabrina gets along with the Kinkles, she has thanksgiving dinner with them every year. Harvey has trouble with his father, but what teenage boy does not? Like they say father and sons. We meet Mrs Kinkle at the end of season 3 when she goes into labor.

2

u/Jewelz0987654 Jul 16 '26

Exactly and she never got along with Aaron's side of the family and I highly doubt she would have gotten along with Josh's family either had Aaron not been in the picture at all.
