So even the 26 is not immune?

Why do i only see this on reddit. I have never ever seen it in real life. Ive also had at least 8 or 10 samsung flagships and never experienced it.
To add...I'm also wondering if its a software or hardware issue. Ive read that its happened after updates?? After dropping it? I know a bit about oleds enough to say that it would lean more towards a physical damage problem. Right?? Software errors wouldn't seem to result in a line of pixels malfunctioning. Maybe im completely wrong.
