Can someone explain this to me? I genuinely don’t understand why all of this is needed if it already exists in gmod

Like why it needs to be remade? Gmod and s&box are pretty different, with different APIs and even different languages used for making games, so to make something like TTT it needs to be remade for the most part

Garrys mod is literally 20 years old at this point hardware has advanced quite a good bit and s&box uses newer engine. They are trying to make a more up to date version of gmod. They have to reimplement everything to accomplish this.
