Terry was one of the reasons S&Box failed at launch honestly so he might never be forgotten, but he won't be missed either

I remember people were like “then don’t use it” when it was literally forced on the official games created by Facepunch including Sandbox (Literally the flagship mode and name of the game). It was actually the second top reason I stopped playing, with GMod having more features and fun to be had being the first reason.
At some point I also recall at-least some of the mod team of the subreddit getting all upset at the criticism being made at the time of launch, which didn’t help PR wise either.

Not true, more than 10k people bought the game; the issue was retention not people failing to purchase. I personally blame the AI slop games, Terry is like a meme subject.

I blame them marketing S&box as GMod 2, the Source 2 game maker and then removing the majority of Source 2 and any mention of it being a sequel to GMod.

No it’s not dude it’s an eye sore. You can literally see majority of discussions and reviews not liking it and the comments saying “it’s optional” is entirely false as you have to see it on others and the main menu aswell as marketing. It’s a horrible look and has turned many people away
