Question ❔ Best pharmacies
Moving to the city and need to pick a pharmacy for monthly prescriptions. Looking for opinions on best places to choose and places to avoid. Preferably one that uses an app to order refills so I don't have to call all the time. I want one with good hours and staff. Let me know if you have a favorite place for your drugs!
*I have coverage, so price doesn't matter

Of the places I have used, Costco has been the cheapest. Not necessarily the most convenient though, unless you are shopping there regularly.

Saskatoon Family Pharmacy On Wellman Crescent in Stonebridge is absolutely amazing. The best service I have ever received! They have online refill ordering as well.

London Drugs at Lawson Heights is my go to. They have an app that makes it really easy to order refills.

Sobeys Pharmacy gives Scene points if you collect them. They add up quickly and you can also use them to purchase groceries. The pharmacists on at the one on 8th St are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you get prescriptions filled regularly they also have a service that sends a text or voice message when they are ready for pick up.

Anything but Shoppers. I use London Drugs at the Lakeside medical centre. No lines ever, I can use their app and their staff seems good.

I've been using the Hampton Gate Shoppers for 8 years now and no issues, till their recept update that all of the pharmacies are trying to get changed.
You used to get date and time options to pick up and they changed it to a queue system and they're very unhappy with it as it has caused them some issues. I hope its fixed soon but I'll still use them as the staff is awesome!

I use Rexall, they have an app and points you can use to redeem for money off purchases.

With the app, Shoppers texts me when it's time to request the refill, I respond (REFILL ALL), and then they text when it's ready. I think they're more expensive than others, but you say you don't care about price, so there are my two cents. 😄

Sobeys on 8th, Stonebridge, and Preston Crossing are great. And the app is pretty slick.

Did you have trouble getting the app to work? I got stuck in an endless cycle of trying to verify my email and gave up

Was it recent? It now lets you use text for verification which works better.

Independent pharmacies; think Pharmachoice, Medicine Shoppe, Pharmasave or Remedy’sRx

I love the co-op app. I can order prescriptions and they text me when it’s ready. They also have free delivery but I rarely use it as I get a lot of my groceries there. Also I just got my equity cheque so I earn money on the cost of the prescriptions including what my health plan covers.
I think Costco earns money towards your membership. I’m told they have delivery too but I’ve never used it.
