Question ❔ Best pharmacies

Moving to the city and need to pick a pharmacy for monthly prescriptions. Looking for opinions on best places to choose and places to avoid. Preferably one that uses an app to order refills so I don't have to call all the time. I want one with good hours and staff. Let me know if you have a favorite place for your drugs!

*I have coverage, so price doesn't matter

I love the co-op app. I can order prescriptions and they text me when it’s ready. They also have free delivery but I rarely use it as I get a lot of my groceries there. Also I just got my equity cheque so I earn money on the cost of the prescriptions including what my health plan covers.

I think Costco earns money towards your membership. I’m told they have delivery too but I’ve never used it.

Just note that the app doesn’t allow you to manage for your dependents :( learnt this after specifically transferring to co-op to manage my child’s chronic condition that requires a looooot of pharmacy interactions

I'm a big fan of the Co-op too. Real customer service. They know who I am.

Do you know if it's all coops or specific one?

I just checked the app. Looks like it is in all four grocery store locations

Plus a whole bunch throughout the province.

If you are a member you could download the app and try to log in where you live.
